Friendly staff, nice accommodations
I have to travel to Atlanta quite often and I have stayed in pretty much every kind of hotel there is to offer. I've stayed at super expensive to super cheap (and scary!) places. I really like this La Quinta because it's not in the middle of downtown, but it's within a block of so many places. The price is reasonable, the staff is always so nice and most of all it actually received my picky daughters seal of approval.

PUBLIC HEALTH RISK
After already staying the night I thought I’d do a courtesy favor and remove the dirty sheets from the bed onto the floor for the maids. I accidentally lifted up the mattress pad only to discover I slept on top of someone’s serosanguineous drainage fluid from a BBL surgery. I almost passed out. The first thing I check for when I enter hotel rooms are for bedbugs—but I totally forget about bodily fluids. I mentioned this to the front desk and he said they weren’t aware which is impossible because the maid had to actually cover the mattress while cleaning the room. Then I spoke with the manager and she said it was wine. Again—I’m a nurse and I work for a lipo surgery center directly across the street so I know what bodily fluids look like. Ppl stay at hotels after these surges and they contaminate the mattresses. This is definitely a public health hazard and I’m disappointed that they’ve put people’s health at risk with no concern. And to make matters worse—no type compensation was ever offered or given. Not even a free night stay. I most definitely will be contacting the health department.
