Worst Hotel with ill-mannered staff Except 1 girl
The only good experience in this hotel was One of Lady Staff at Reception, she was the only helpful staff who was really wanted to help customer. 1- Bathroom towels stinks every time i ask for fresh ones. 2- Bathroom doesn't have bidget and this information was not mentioned on site as there's no Hotel website as well 3- The Room phone keeps on ringing in every 30 minutes and when asked F.O staff to change the same the staff was so rude and says that it cannot happen and if it happens remove the phone line wire. 4- When requested staff to change the room because of the problems he said to change the hotel as these are the only rooms they have in hotel 5- The food served in the breakfast was totally worthless. The utensils were always wet and the serving was worst

Good location, really bad stay even for one night
My SO and I booked a stay-cation there for 1 night. We chose it because the price was reasonable with a good location. We were very disappointed with the following: 1. Hotel room was A LOT smaller than in the pictures. There's barely much space to walk around. 2. There were only 2 bath towels for the entire room. No face towels, no bath robes, no slippers. I had to wear my shoes all around the hotel room. 3. Room was extremely cold, despite it being set at 30 Degree Celsius and on LOW. Flooring was stone, and there were no slippers, so you can't walk around the stone cold room without your shoes; i.e. not homely at all. 4. We checked in at 2pm, used up 1 bath towel to clean up a spill at around 6pm, and called reception to request for change of towels, and also additional blanket (since it was so cold). They said we had to bring the dirty towels down to reception to do a 1-for-1 exchange. We were getting ready for dinner, so decided to do it afterwards at around 10pm. We went down with the dirty towels, and were told THERE WERE NO MORE CLEAN TOWELS, and that all the other guests had taken them. First time ever hearing that a hotel had no more clean towels. We had to use 1 towel for 2 people for the night and the next day. 5. Bed was really uncomfortable, and only 2 pillows given 6. Morning breakfast was mediocre. Their "continental breakfast" is toast, omelette, chicken sausages (the kind you get off the supermarket), baked beans, cereal, terrible fried rice and OJ/coffee/tea

Showing it's age
Pay for what you get, it's a cheaper option in central Singapore. Right next to Fort Canning and Clarke Quay, makes for easy access around Sing. That's about where it stops. Hotel is showing it's age, surrounded by larger more styled venues. Entrance is rather dark and dingy, felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Rooms are very small, folding table from wall to bed showcases how small. Found it tricky to have cases in the room without having to move to access either door or bathroom. In a fire or/and toilet emergency, would have died.. Being on 10th floor isn't a blessing as the air vents atop the roof are loud, and kick in the room when there's no power so even if you didn't want AC, you're going to get it when you come back later. Breakfast is poor. Small options and the same every morning, didn't cater for any particular dietary requirement, passed on when there's so much great food out in Sing. Re-iterating price makes it worthwhile for a couple of days and if you're out all the time.

Exceptional 10.0
Next to the Riverwalk, next to all fun, but quiet
I am an American, living in China, and I still enjoy good hotels that Orbitz has to offer. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was for an old room on the second floor (the cheaper offer on Orbitz). We were offered to take a new room at the top floor with a view of the skyline, but we had to pay an additional $10 (Singaporean dollars), which we accepted. When we walked into our room, the view was spectacular. However, the smell of the smoke was unbearable, so we immediately walked out and asked to change the room. The staff insured us that smoking is prohibited and issued a new key for another room. One of the staff members came with us to make sure that our room was in good shape. Indeed, our room (although small as the previous one), had even better view. It had absolutely no smell, and everything worked out well thereafter. The breakfast is excellent (western style, almost the same every day), but why change something that's already good? We loved being next to the Riverwalk, where you can walk, bike, use rollerblades, and also take a boat ride and eat delicious food. Also, a walking distance from the hotel, there are two metro stops that will connect you to any place in Singapore. However, on our way to the airport, we had to take a taxi to get to the metro line because we had too much luggage to carry. One can easily walk to Fort Canning park, a real jewel, as well as Orchid Road, several shopping centers, National Museum of Singapore, and even China Town.

Very good 8.0
Very nice and quite location. The hotel is nearby shopping malls which have supermarket. We got the corner room with river view, quite nice actually. The room is rather small but clean and offers most facilities we need. Staff is helpful. I like the way they tell visitors in advance what they don't offer like they don't offer small towel so that we can prepare ours. Unlike most of 3 star hotels in Singapore, this hotel provides breakfast. But don't expect too much. The only vegetable served is peas. Breakfast is not much variety but staff keep refill which is good. Our family ( 3 peoples) stay on 2nd floor for 2 nights. Eventhough this is non - smoking hotel but on our floor, the smoking smell is very strong. This hotel is around 7 mins walk from Fort Cannings Mrt station.
