A bit disappointed
Perhaps we didn't look like the usual Naumi client as we arrived with backpacks after travelling three weeks in Cambodia but our initial impressions were mixed. We were advised our room wasn't ready and it would be a couple of hours. We weren't offered a welcome cold drink and we stood at the reception desk to complete check in. I noticed over the next few days that others were seated and offered drinks. Also the receptionist advised us not to go to Little India as it was full of itinerant labourers. Overal initial checkin service was very poor. Most of the staff were very pleasant but there were occasional feelings of discomfort. Some areas of the hotel are looking tired . We stayed in a habitat room which is the smallest in the hotel but is of a good size for a long stay. The free mini bar and snacks is a bit misleading . You get snacks and a beer, once per stay and the single beer in the fridge is mean, particularly as there were two of us staying in the room. Housekeeping was good and the room is generally comfortable. Sheets, bed and pillows are of good quality but the seal on the shower needed replacing and water spilled into the room. The location is good for travelling via MRT and bus and is very safe although the street has some bars which can get a bit rowdy in an evening although the noise does not travel into the room. Overal we just didn't feel that we were valued customers.

Disappointing in some aspects
We had thought of catching the National Day Parade (NDP) preview fireworks here from the pool. The pool area in general was nice, with pool towels provided and an assortment of lounge chairs. However, we noticed that the new establishment which had been built in the last year, South Beach, obstructed the pool view of the floating platform where the NDP was held this year. As such, we didn't believe that we would be able to get a good view of the fireworks and left elsewhere. Beware for those who are booking this place for NDP! We did raise to the hotel that it was our first wedding anniversary here, but they didn't do anything special for the occasion, and gave us a second floor room that had a view of rubbish bins (literally) though we checked in promptly at 2. We had asked about the pool menu before we checked in and were told that we would be given this at reception, but reception did not remember to pass us this. While there were quite a few channels on the TV, the normal channels (Nat Geo etc, not YouTube) had horrible reception, suitable to a TV made 20 years ago. There should be a guide to the room, as it was not obvious where things like bedroom slippers and wine glasses were (we discovered both only on the second day). On the bright side, the bed and bath area were generally comfortable. Location was good too. I find this place rather no-frills and disappointing in some aspects for a luxury hotel.

Great location and a Personal touch
This is a smaller hotel than many, and it benefits from that by all the team making your stay feel personal and very welcoming. It definitely has a boutique type feel, with really nice touches in the room. Firstly, it is in a great location. Overlooking Raffles hotel, you can easily pop in for an obligatory Singapore sling. The marina Bay Area is only a 20 minute easy, safe walk away and the more central points of Orchard Rd and Bugis are again within 30 mins walking. The rooms themselves,as in many big cities, are on the compact side, but Naumi have done a fab job of creating lots of storage space with some really innovative ideas. The room was incredibly well stocked with toiletries, had Netflix available on the tv, and included a complimentary mini bar which I was super impressed with. The rooftop pool area is again quite small, but views over Raffles and down to the bay are fantastic, and means it’s a lovely spot to have a nighttime drink overlooking the city. Used the gym, which again had modern equipment and was well air conditioned - essential! We didn’t use the restaurant whilst there, but it was always pretty full with diners who looked to be enjoying their experience. Overall, a fab hotel, with wonderful warm people in a great location. Would pick this hotel first time if in Singapore again

Gem of a place with stellar staff
Naumi is a small boutique establishment with excellent location. We felt incredibly welcomed by the staff and management at Naumi, making us feel at home away from home. Since we were a family with kids the hotel made sure that the rooms were adjacent. The staff is ever ready to help you, sort your plans by offering advise on shopping, attractions and dining alike. In particular Michelle was genuinely very helpful, informative and personable. The rooms are modern and well furnished and equipped. The amenities are up to date. The rooms are not tiny but small enough to preclude accommodating a family of four with two teenagers. I'm glad we booked two rooms. The location just beside the Raffles is superb with Marina Bay attractions Singapore Flyer, Sands, MBS Shoppes and Marina Bay Gardens all within close proximity. Places like Peranakan house and shops on east post road or Haji Lane are a short cab or MTR ride away. The breakfast that Naumi serves is truly sumptuous and provides much needed fuel for a day long excursions. We only ate dinner thereafter. The spread changes every day and is a good combination of continental cuisines as much as local with options. The rooftop infinity lap pool area offers a wonderful view of Singapore skyline both during the day or at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Naumi and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for business and personal stays.

Exceed Expectations!
my expectations during my stay at Naumi Hotel was beyond of what I was expecting! everything went perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jason. he assisted me throughout the stay. very approachable and kind. all the amenities worked well. they even had an apple TV! made my stay worth while. the view from my room was beautiful. the infinity pool was clean and refreshing. the hotel is ultimately 5 star for me, the price was sufficient and affordable. this is the best place to relax after a long day touring beautiful singapore. if you want more from a hotel in singapore, this small, luxury hotel will meet all your needs and expectations. good for couples or solo travelers like me, who like chic, and a small space. wishing more hotels like this. will definitely come back!
