Check in staff was great and was able to get us in early. Shuttle service to Brewer game was good...a little wait and other lodgers who were unkind returning to the hotel. Wish the shuttle driver would have, "put his foot down." Rooms were very clean and spacious.

Staying at The Ambassador was like stepping back in time, but in a good way. The Art Deco touches, especially the beautiful elevator doors, were reminiscent of a more glamorous time, but we also appreciated the modern touches - plenty of places to plug in our electronic devices, and luxurious, fluffy towels. Our room was one of the most spacious we’ve ever stayed in, the bed was comfortable, and - while this might sound strange - it was the best smelling hotel I’ve ever been in. It is possible I was bracing myself for the musty smells of an older hotel; I was very pleasantly surprised.

Hotel's location is perfect: next to University, very easy to go downtown by bus and to go to the stadium.. Plus, they offer a wonderful shuttle service to anywhere! The breakfast at the Café and the dinner at the restaurant so delicious: thanks chef! Our guy at the reception so patient and kind: thank you! Room clean: cannot complain..unfortunately i couldnt book a larger one: next time!

All the staff were great. The beds were comfy. The main reason for the 3-star review is because the neighborhood had some loud police activity two out of the three nights we stayed which interrupted our rest. Perhaps not the best neighborhood and not for kids.

This is authentic art deco and lobby is beautiful. Rooms were huge and very good. Bath needs grab bars and safer tubs - getting out is treacherous. At night the hotel public areas were full of college kids - some drunk even in the elevators. Parking is a bit sketchy with locked gates and wandering people. Guard at the hotel entry was watching TV.

The hotel is very convenient to downtown area like attractions from theaters, arenas, and sports stadiums, plus close to interstates and easy to get to and out of the city. The room was very clean on arrival with plenty of towels, coffee cups, etc. Nice area to find good restaurants and the hotel has a nice bar/restaurant on the lower level.
