Very good 8.0
Great place to stay. (Except parking)
A great location and property. However the views to the lake are now spoilt by a large hotel under construction in the neighbouring block. Only issue I had was parking. The property has free secure underground parking, but the bays are not allocated to rooms, and there are less bays then rooms! So it became a lottery every night to try and sucker a parking bay which was disappointing, given I booked it expecting a car bay! Other then that, it is a fantastic place to stay.

Did the job
Location was great. While it is a steep walk up a short hill to get back to the hotel from Queenstown centre, it's not too strenuous. Room had all we needed, though TV was a bit on the old side and available channels was very few, but you're in Queenstown so you should be out of your hotel, not in it.

Would not recommend.
Absolutely shocking design of the building and awful signage. All corridors are sloped, so you're either walking uphill or downhill. You need to take a specific elevator to get to your room or the underground parking - bad signage and difficult to work out where to go. Signage to Reception is confusing and we had to leave one building and run in the rain to get to another building where Reception is located. Are you confused? So were we. Car parking bays are very small and if the carpark was full it would be very difficult getting in and out. The comfort of the room was quite good but once the curtain is open you are totally exposed to passing guests. Poor privacy. We requested a king size bed but got 2 double beds, not sure who their target customers are.
