I have never felt this gross staying at a hotel before, and I have stayed at some sketchy places in third world countries all over the world. We found blood on our sheets when we rolled down our covers. We ended up finding blood in several more places later on as well even on the "clean" sheets we requested. Be aware that this hotel does not keep anyone from housekeeping in the evening. So if there is a problem with your room after you have checked in, you are out of luck. They ended up sending the maintenance guy to deal with the sheets problem. He was very kind, but he is not a house keeper and he was quite frankly sweaty and we did not want him changing the sheets. We ended up changing all of the bedding ourselves. I am appalled at how this hotel is run and my next step will be to report to BBB. When I reported the bloody sheets, I was not offered any money back because I paid through I was also not offered any vouchers for free nights (not that I would want one). I will not stay here again and suggest that other avoid as well.

Central hotel
I booked this hotel because of the reviews, but I was a bit disappointed when I arrived. First off, it was winter and when pulling into the parking lot they hadn't even cleaned it so our car was having a very hard time even getting to the building. Second, It seemed like everything was broken in the hotel..the front door didn't slide open when you walked up it more or less looked like it was about to break off the hinges ...the elevator was leaking water..the room was missing towel racks...we had two light bulbs out in our room and the shower only wanted to work as a bath. Finally, this hotel wasn't filthy but it wasn't very clean either. the couches in the waiting area were stained..all the rugs they had everywhere were black...our beds weren't really made more or less thrown together..and there seemed to be someone hair all over in the bathroom and in our bed? This really seemed like a choice for people with animals (we had a neighbor that's dog just sat and barked at the door and the owners didn't seem to care) and those traveling for business. Staff was very nice though! No complaints with lady seemed to work the front desk the whole three days we were there!! I asked her if she ever went home and she said she worked swings and then regular shifts! Bravo to her. She was always very upbeat too. Central hotel and right next to most amenities. I probably won't return to this hotel.

Just OK
We were in town for 3 nights- and were given a room right by the elevator- which is super noisy ! I figured if you are staying for more than 1 night you might get a better space. 2nd- the pool area had about 50+ kids in there- a birthday party was going on all day on Saturday and Sunday so we could not use the pool or the common room facilities.3rd- We were told at check-in, the breakfast times, and that Hot water- and Coffee were available all day. They aren't - only at Breakfast- which we really couldn't get any breakfast until our last morning, they were either out of almost everything or it was packed - pretty sure half those people were not actual guest of the hotel- Monday -we got there at 6:45- there was no butter, no peanut butter so bread products had to be eaten dry, no eggs, we even asked if there was some butter at least and the lady said they had none. only flimsy cups for your hot drinks, so... And although "checkout" isn't until noon- if you are not out of your room by 9:30 they do not service it while you are out for the day- we had to ask for towels, and coffee supplies for the room ,and we RAN OUT OF TOILET PAPER, never received any more ! (There was only 2 of us adults in our room.) Given that I have stayed at other LaQuinta's in other states, and a different hotel in Boise - I expected a little better experience, for the price I paid. I have stayed at places same price - with much better service and bedrooms.

This place is okay....
It's not a bad place. When we checked in we had to wait quite a while for the front desk lady to show up. She didn't program the key so we went all the way up to our room and the key didn't work. Then went down to have that done, get up to room and realize it wasn't the right room. Back down again and all the while each time I went down I had to wait several minutes for her to come to the front desk. By the time we had gotten a key that worked and a room that was right I had seen her 3x's and waited about 20mins total for her. The location is nice only if you're needing to do errands around the mall. Lots of food options and lots of stores right around like Target. The room itself has thin walls. We came in from swimming and were showering and getting ready for bed and the people below us kept banging on their ceiling, our floor, to be quiet. The fact was we weren't being loud. Then the electricity went out or about 2 hours early in the morning hours and we were baking! And you couldn't sleep because dogs were barking and you could hear every sound. We always bring a noise machine and run the a/c fan. So that was all off and it was NOISY. I never found out why the electric went off but it was just the hotel, not the area. The pool is 24 hrs which is nice but both jacuzzi and pool were cloudy in color. We've stayed here twice and only because where we normally stay was priced double for these nights. Otherwise we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Exceptional 10.0
Clean, comfortable, relaxing stay.
I stayed there for 3 nights, from Thursday through Sunday. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful, I had an issue with my room keys(card reader on the door of my room didn't work well, low battery charge was the issue), but the front desk staff and their maintenance staff took care of the issue right away. My room was on the 4th floor on the far corner, the room was very spacious, it was very quiet at night, bed was comfortable, pillows could be better... most pillows(there were 5 of them on my bed) went near flat(under stuffed, I'd say). Breakfast was good enough for the price I paid for the room. House keeping did the good work everyday, cleaned my room well, they did much better jobs than some of the nicer hotels I have stayed in Las Vegas last year. The hotel is right by the shopping mall, several restaurants, and Boise Racquet & Swim Club(about 3 min drive), and about 13~15 min to downtown Boise. I was there for a tennis tournament at BRSC, so this place was very convenient for me. I'd stay there again next time I go back to Boise for another tennis tournament in the future.
