Booked a one bed studio, but was put in a two bed- no sofa room. Working nights means sleeping days, and in spite of zero housekeeping, someone was in my room a lot of the time. First it was someone to check my window, then it was to apply pesticides, then it was because they didnt finish the roach control the day before. "Breakfast on the go" was literally a choice between a bagel or toast. That's the only two choices. Opting to cook in my room on the duel hotplate they call a stove, I asked for a fork, knife, spoon, and a tumbler for a week. No pool, no visable vending machines, no nothing really. There is another extended stay across the street that might fare better. This is as bare bones as it gets.

Uncomfortable is putting it nicely
In all fairness, I don't set a high bar when it comes to expectations. I'm a firm believer in low expectations, better outcome. However, this didn't even meet my lowest bar. Night 1: When we got to our room, the door was open and hadn't been finished. One of the two beds hadn't been made and was missing pillow covers. We also had to call down to the front desk for hand soap and towels. Granted, we got past that. My friend said that her bed (the unmade one) was as hard and squeeky as could be. PS - could use more outlets. Bring a multi-outlet if you stay here. Night 2: Since it was New Years, we got back to the hotel at 2AM. The front door is locked after around 9PM, so you need to call in. After calling multiple times with no answer and eventually banging on the front door (~15 minutes), another guest had let us in. When we finally got back to our room, it hadn't been cleaned. Turns out that having someone clean your room each day costs extra, but no one had mentioned it when we booked the hotel or arrived. Later that night, my friend asked if we could switch beds since the one she'd slept on hurt so badly the night before. Come to find out, it was missing the enitre top layer - she had slept on just a spring board the night before. Check Out: Waited at the front desk for 20 minutes for someone to come back.

wasn't informed at check-in that no maid service was provided, so it was a shock to come back to the room after a long day out to no clean towels. when i asked for extra towels at checkin, they didn't want to give them to me, and i had to insist that 4 towels wasn't enough for 4 women. location was fine, right across the street from universal. the bathrooms need an update: the shower dripped constantly and the toilet rocked back and forth. you get what you paid for, and since it was cheap and filled the need, it was fine for 2 nights.

Very disappointed.
CONS 1. I booked over a month ago and they didn't have the room available that I paid for. I got a lower class room, when I asked for a manager to get with me on this, the manager was never available. I repeatedly asked for days and still no callback as was promised. 2. The first room they gave me had a dog bone on the floor, smelled horrible and a dirty bathroom. 3. I was given another room. This room was "acceptable" though still a lower class room. The room floors were dirty, nothing worse than walking across carpeted floors after taking a shower and getting dirty feet (YUCK!). 4. Be aware that they do not have dishes/pans/silverware in the room, you have to request these items. Also no sponges for cleaning dishes, you have to use a dish towel with a "packet" of soap to clean the dishes. 5. Breakfast is a carbohydrate lovers dream. Poor quality frozen style waffles, toast, dry cereals, bagels. No eggs, protein of any kind. 6. The luggage cart had a flat wheel, made it difficult to push/pull. PROS The front desk staff are pleasant and accommodated me as much as they were able (not sure about the management as none would call me back and were not onsite the entire trip i was there).

Very good 8.0
Overall Good
Pros: Location, parking, clean, price, super comfy, kitchen area had more than other hotels’ small rooms have (stove & big fridge), continental breakfast Cons: The toilets must be super sensitive because there is a sign that says do not hold down when you flush and do not flush twice back to back, like right after. It got clogged for no reason once. I booked a queen bed and got 2 full beds then the front desk called it ‘a complimentary upgrade’, but I think this is the third party’s fault for overbooking, not the hotel’s. None of the negatives world stop me from staying here again for the price I paid, I only stayed for one night.
