Nice hotel
No issues but maybe an idea to provide complimentary water? Rooms a bit dated but clean.

A new refurb and a good staff team needed.
It needs a refurb. The restaurant couldn’t cope at breakfast time.

Great hotel, poor restaurant service
Beautiful hotel and spa. Really disappointed with the service at breakfast. Food was buffet and good quality however speed of service and length of time waiting for toast and hot drinks was poor. Clearing of tables was non existent and other diners were constantly chasing for hot drinks and bowls/plates. Felt a little like fawlty towers! Great hotel let down a little by restaurant service

Magnificent from start to finish!
I've stayed in hotels all over the UK and all over the world and i came here just for the weekend to use the health club facilities as it's one I haven't been too. I had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing time. I cannot find fault with anything within this hotel. My room was perfect, such a very comfortable bed, the radiator was on full blast (you can turn it down but i like it hot) scolding hot water for my bath (beautiful) Ordered breakfast to be delivered to my room, which was delicious and fresh, hot for the hot food and cold for the cold food which was all throughly enjoyed and devoured. Toiletries, tv, kettle, fridge, hairdryer, iron etc was all there. The hotel decor is striking and the layout is huge, it's fun to explore where to go! Loved the health club too! A huge pool, state of the art gym and gorgeous sauna and steam room. Massages galore on offer too! Great changing rooms with electronic key code lockers. I loved everything about my time here. I highly recommend a visit!

Pleasant trip
We were allocated a room in them manor house, I assume the original part of the building, the room was made up of a small lounge area two bedrooms off this, a large double and a single. The lounge area and the smaller bedroom were cold with most of the heat from the radiator being blocked by very substantial curtain, which were needed to block the draught from the windows. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing, the sink not draining as quick as you would expect and a brown dust being ejected from the hot tap when it was first turned on. We reported the issues to reception who asked a manager to inspect the room, which he did and the parking fee was waived, 10/10 for service. We went to use the pool whilst the hotel sorted the problem with the plumbing, which, upon our return, appeared to have been resolved, only for the problem to present itself again later in the evening. As we were only there for one night there seemed little point in raising it again. Breakfast was average, with most hot food items being warm (baked beans) at best and cold (scrambled eggs) at worst. One other issue that we had was the choice of music playing in the changing rooms in the spa on the Friday evening, just before children had too leave. I'm not sure a song with expletives that were not disguised in any way is appropriate. All in all we had a pleasant trip and the hotel looks amazing we may have just been unlucky with the plumbing issue but breakfast could be improved.

Midweek stay in Stratford-upon-Avon
Lovely hotel, nice position in the town, very quiet room, comfortable bed Could do with updating/decorating as shabby cracked peeling paint in bathroom

Great value for money on a Sunday night stay. Check-in and check-out was quick and professional. Enjoyed using pool and sauna/steam room. Parking charge was per stay rather than per night which made it a reasonable cost as were able to simply park up and walk wherever wanted to go to in centre.

Ants in the bathroom
Ants all over the bathroom and staff not interested. I have contacted the hotel directly but heard nothing back so happy to leave a fair review. We found ants all over the bathroom, which after getting rid of a load still came back. Spoke to the front desk and the guy didn’t apologize or seem bothered (seemed like he didn’t believe me) -just moved us a couple doors down. This would have been fine if they actually seemed remotely fussed but didn’t seem bothered at all. Bathrooms really smell but the room was a good size and not bad. Really comfy beds. Breakfast was good - £7 parking a night (said £5 in welcome email).

Ideal place to stay in Stratford upon Avon.
Stayed as a couple. The room was spacious and clean. The leisure area was a little dated with some of the mosaic's missing in places. The breakfast was plentiful but only warm, not hot. The reception staff and cleaning staff were very helpful and cheery, as were the staff in the leisure area.
