Anniversary surprise
Completely amazed at how thoughtful the staff was. We were there celebrating our 25-year anniversary and just requested an ocean view. Not only did we get that but we also were surprised with a welcoming post card and a bottle of wine and glasses! One of the housekeepers, Marfelia, left a rose pedal design on our bed with a sign saying 'Happy Anniversary'. We were sincerely surprised by these loving and amazing gestures. Made the stay all the more special. Thank you LCDC staff!!!!

Stunning!
This has been the most majestical room I’ve ever stayed in. You can see the care and pride that has gone into this hotel for almost 100 years. Couple that with the picturesque ocean views, amazingly supportive staff, and exquisite dining and rooftop bar(don’t sleep on the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich) or was nothing short of an amazing stay. We will be back as often as possible.

Cute Hotel, Some Inconveniences
I liked the unique decor of the Casa Surf room, and the fact that said room had a partial Ocean View. The food at the rooftop restaurant was delicious, and the people who worked there were nice. The hotel is also walking distance from the beach and a lot of cute shops and restaurants. On the downside, it's kind of inconvenient that you aren't guaranteed an Ocean View room at booking, and have to wait to see if one is available on the day of. Also, the "breakfast" options were underwhelming, and on the morning that we checked out, there was a sewer smell in the hotel. Very grateful that said smell only started about 30 minutes before we had already planned to leave.
