Do not stay here!! Terrible management company.
Prepare to be stranded or put in their substandard downgraded La Flora Hotel next door. I had previously stayed at the Impala which was fine. The problem is even if you book The Impala and confirm the night before you may be downgraded to La Flora when you arrive. This hotel management company should be banned from here, zero customer service or integrity. No guarantee that you will be given the room you booked! The promise of a refund was never honored. Before booking here, consider this hotel company will take up your vacation time while you have to pay for and rebook another hotel after they failed to honor the room you booked and after they have tried to take advantage of your position that you need a place to stay. Beware, terrible management company trying to take advantage! Plus Beach towels are basically rags which you are charged a resort fee for!

This property does not look like the pictures. The floors are cracked and had sand on them. The room we received was not what we paid for. We paid for a suite and got a basic queen room. They said they were over booked. The staff at the check in was horribly rude and nasty. Did not offer any help with the issue other than saying she was texting her manager. The showers were a drizzle with no pressure. Floor tires cracked. Sheets and towels had stains. Would not recommend this property.

Second worst hotel experience ever
I was promptly given freshly coded keys to my first room; the keys would not open my room. The desk staff, which are located at the adjacent hotel, La Flora, re-coded the keys, and they still would not open the door to my room; the staff being located at another property is a complete misrepresentation of this listing. After perhaps 6 repetitions of the keys being coded and not opening my room, the desk staff finally requested assistance from a manager who was not on-site to replace the batteries on the lock to my room, since the staff member was not capable of doing this themselves… Some 2 or 3 hours later, the desk staff informed me that I would be given a room for the night in La Flora instead of the room I had paid for in Hotel Impala. By the time I checked in, it was already evening and I had to cancel personal plans. The quality of the room I was given at La Flora was significantly lower than those of Hotel Impala; it was small, the bed was springy, and the hot water was barely warm. My room at Hotel Impala was very nice in comparison. I found the valet service to be completely unreliable, as the desk staff were absent for almost two hours one night, forcing me to take a Lyft; rather than risk missing my flight, once I retrieved my car from valet, I parked on the street and incurred further costs.

I the fall of 2021 I decided to take my adult son to f1 in Miami. I spent considerable time looking for a good affordable hotel. I booked two rooms at the Impala. It was literally half price of surrounding hotels. Was I concerned? Oh yea. The location was great in South Beach. It was walking distance to the beach (They provide towels), Collins ave, Ocean Drive and a longer walk to Lincoln Road Mall (great for restaurants and some shopping). My son had never been to South Beach and was worried about where we would eat. Within 100 yards there ate many many restaurants. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and we went to our rooms. They were nice with a king bed and newly remodeled bathroom. I've seen some complain that there was no housecleaning. In the last six months, my wife and I have stayed in four hotels in four different states and no one had room cleaning due to Covid. I'm fine with that. Of course you could get fresh towels etc very easily. When I return to Miami I'll definitely stay at the Impala.
