I felt like I was staying at a Holiday Inn on a tropical island. We had to change our destination last minute, so I went with what was available but was not impressed for the price. Off the beach, more of a hotel feel, not great customer service...would not rebook on a return trip.

8/10 Very good

I liked that there was a small shopping / dining center on the property. The property was clean and well maintained and staffed at all times. Hot / cold water and teas are available at all times I’m the breakfast area. Beach towels are provided and you can switch out for a new towel at any time. Shoutout to Wesley and Joseph at the beach booth. They were exceptionally nice. Even though the resort is not beach front, it was great having someone from the resort on the beach in case you need a ride, to borrow a life jacket, set you up with an umbrella, etc. What I did not like about the resort is that is was impossible for my friends and I to get extra shampoo. So definitely a minor thing, but just weird. The other odd thing is that we were supposed to be able to buy beverages from the beach booth, however the entire time we were there (4 nights) there was some sort of issue and the beach booth was unable to sell any beverages, including water. My first day there I had to sneak into an adjacent resort in search of water. So my advice would be to bring a smaller cooler or even just a large water bottle to stay hydrated on the beach. Also bring your own sunscreen. I was not able to find good sunscreen on the resort or at the nearby grocery store.
