Easily the best Bergen views from a hotel.
Staying in Bergen for three nights we wanted a good sized room, a view, opening windows and easy access to the main town. This hotel delivered it all. Amazing views from our room wit a small balcony and comfortable lounge chairs. You do only get good views from two sides of the hotel, so if that’s important make sure you book the right room. And we had a great deal on hotels.com which meant it was not outrageously expensive.

Fantastic location of hotel on the water
Efficient check-in- pleasant staff. Ŕoom location on 1st floor with direct view to the water, but we had access to a very small balcony which was shared with our neighbour ( little bit strange). Room was a bit small to fit 2 x large bags and the furniture , but bed very comfortable and bathroom modern and a good size walk in shower. Breakfast plentiful with fantastic variety and you could enjoy the view of the water and the mountains whilst enjoying your meal. Easy walk to all of Bergen and an easy 15 minute walk to the Train Station.

Brilliant location
We had room 269 which was a superior double with great views back across to Bryggen. Room was “compact” as is the norm in Europe but it had everything including heated bathroom floor and great shower. Breakfast was included and the buffet had everything anyone could possibly want. Close to everything. Would definitely stay there again if ever in Bergen.

This hotel was well positioned for all tourist attractions in Bergen and the hotel staff were helpful with our queries about traveling out of the city area. Facilities for tea and coffee making in the room would have been welcome.
