Holiday Inn Resort Phuket, an IHG Hotel

Brilliant trip, holiday inn resort ticked all the boxes. Great pools, nice restaurants and reasonable prices, good pool food for kids, centrally located, across the road from the beach, nice staff, housekeeping very sharp cleaning rooms early in the day, great choice for breakfast each day. An excellent resort especially for young families, very happy stay.

I have been going to the Holiday Inn 1 or 2 times a year for 12 years or so and have a rarely been disappointed. One minor criticism is they tend to prioritise members who book directly with IHG website than through Expedia and the like.

Holiday inn where amazing they are all so friendly and treated you with so much respect the breakfast was amazing and They went out of there way to make special creation pancakes for the kids highly recommended and can’t wait to stay again in April

All staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt safe in and around the Holiday Inn. It was close to everything, beach, shops, markets etc. Really enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Once again Holiday Inn Resort did not let us down. We were on arrival devastated to find that our usual main pool and area was closed for renovation. We thought should we stay or go seeing as we had ten nights booked?? We were too tired to give it more than a quick thought luckily as stay we did. We learned to love the second pool just as much. More family friendly than the main pool so lots of kids (who for some reason chose here instead of either of the two kids pools) and no swim up bar but just as glorious. The staff were as usual wonderful, from the lobby to the pool and the buffet breakfasts and restaurants did not fault. While we would have preferred to have seen the renovation information on the website so we knew what we were booking we couldn’t hear a thing so weren’t affected. We will definitely be back and since the newly renovated rooms and area open in just over a month, it may have to be sooner than planned. For people who haven’t been here before, the hotels and distance from things can be overwhelming, Holiday Inn Resort is opposite Patong Beach. It’s about a 10 min easy walk in either direction (beach side or market side) to Bangla Rd or Jungceylon shopping centre (which you can walk as a block so it’s super handy). If you’re into Muai Thai, there’s a great centre (Maximum Fitness Centre) a five minute walk from the hotel. 2 hour group classes for next to nothing or 1 hr PT sessions for about $40 Australian. In short, BEST location for access to everywhere.

Free upgrade was great. Main pool being closed wasn't great and we booked because of locality and pools.

Close to everything. I've stayed here 3 times now, as it is walking distance to everything. The bed is comfortable, just bring a pair of earplugs as the music can be quit loud during the night. This seems to help.
