Average hotel that needs an update and redesign. Nice location. Staff seemed irritated with tourists.

This hotel has everything!! A pool and hot tub! Laundry room that was FREE!! Loved their water refilling station!! We had a suite which was HUGE! They had free ice cream every afternoon and cute little s’mores packages every evening to make s’mores by their awesome fire out outside. Highly recommend this hotel!!!

    Mostly great

The hotel was great ! Except for our last day there . Housekeeping must have confused our room with another room and very abruptly tried to enter our room at 815am. The latch caught her so she couldn’t get in all of the way. I was still sleeping and my husband was getting into the bathroom . When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk she was quite rude about it . She said they don’t even start to Clean until around that time . Almost as if she was accusing me of not telling her the truth . No apology . Didn’t ask what room I was in so they could address it . Nothing . It would have been very embarrassing had we not hooked the latch , not to mention I had been not feeling well and was still sleeping . Other than that , the staff , hotel and all the extras were great ! Just very disappointed in how this mishap was handled… or really not handled at all :/

Hotel was great, option to fill your water bottles, nice breakfast. Overpriced for the hotel but overall good experience. Internet does need work, it was very deficient.

The good, the bad and the ugly....CHECK YOUR BILL!

The good: unbeatable location-at Yellowstone gate/walk to shopping/dining/museum/attractions in W Yellowstone, room was spacious and comfortable, convenient parking, mini-fridge and microwave in room, nice pool and fitness areas, laundry room, water bottle filling station, plenty of recycling bins and a VERY light breakfast each morning. There’s also a camp host offering hiking stick and binocular rentals plus games and info. We were also impressed by details such as complimentary ice cream and s’mores by the fire pit each evening...but stay tuned! The bad: the room was clean but you could see and smell mildew in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. There was free wifi but it was spotty at best. No one was rude but about half the people that helped us at the front desk seemed very bothered or bored to be there. I get it, it’s a J.O.B. but still, it is the hospitality industry. The ugly: I paid for the room in advance so went to the desk at check out to confirm there weren’t any charges to my card that was on file for incidentals. While one guy was debating on whether to put his coffee down to actually look or not, the other quickly said the $10 incidental charge had already been returned to my card. The next day I see an additional $80 charge to my card instead. I called to learn that there is a $15/day fee for the “free” s’mores and the privilege to rent hiking poles and binoculars! They said they will refund it but it will be a few days before I can confirm.

    Very Family Friendly!

I am so impressed with Grey Wolf! Great location, close to Yellowstone gate, across street from wolf sanctuary, and wow do they have family fun covered! Nice pool and hot tub, free ice cream, free s’mores at night, a stuffed wolf on the bed for my son to keep, and the sweetest guy at check in went out of his way to give my son a Caldera temporary tattoo and tell him he’s now part of the wolf pack, which made him feel very special. I really recommend this hotel!!!
