Location is great
This is our second stay at the hotel and it has the best location in Lake Como. We booked the rooms with the balcony so we had a wonderful view of the lake. The hotel rooms are a bit old and lacking in facilities but the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again for the location.

Look further!
Outdated old hotel with smelly rooms, first room smelled of pesticides, no Wifi connection in rooms! The manager was nice to offer to move us to a different rooms but still: uncomfortable pillows and mattresses, old ACs unit and creepy and loud sounds from all directions. The location was very convenient but definitely would not stay there again! Look further and find something better especially for the high rate they are charging! Como used to be nice but with all these high numbers of tourists, city is going downhill as they are not prepared! Hard to impossible to find taxis, no Ubers! Definitely not the friendliest staff/locals! Try to ask a question or two while trying to book your trip on the ferry and you will know what I mean! We came in for the second time after being in Switzerland and it is day and night. I love Italy overall but they have a huge room for improvement!
