Enjoyed our stay and loved the happy hour drinks.
Great hotel, a little out of downtown but still a good area. Dee Ann was very friendly and helpful. Loved their happy hour drinks as we got to meet lots of other guests from all over the world. Room had lots of space and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed hot tea and coffee always available near breakfast area.

We enjoyed our stay as it was convenient to the great museum and for shopping. We enjoyed the Happy hour complementary drinks and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The link with the sister hotel Captain Cook was an extra bonus. We would certainly recommend it.

The place to stay in Anchorage!
Fabulous hotel with fantastic staff. Highly recommend this hotel. A special mention for Don whose amazing knowledge of the local area and even more important, his love of music with great conversation was greatly appreciated at the complementary Happy Hour!

Always a great value, our go when in Anchorage
Always a great deal! Staff is friendly and the fact that a generous breakfast, which includes pancakes makes it such a great value. It's our go to when we stop in Anchorage.

Great stay. Room may be too hot in summer
Great hotel, especially compared to the most others in Anchorage. The only con is that the building is designed to keep heat, and they do not have an AC - only heating system - consider this if you are traveling in summer w/ 60+ degrees temperature. Even with a portable fan the room was too warm. Also note they don’t have own parking, there is a street parking that is free on weekends.

No Air Conditioning
The hotel was nice and clean. However we weren’t notified until arrival that there was no air conditioning. When asked when would the air be up and running we were told probably never because the estimate for repairs was over $150,000.00. We were given fans and told we could go to their sister property next door but “the rooms weren’t near as nice and were very small”. We weren’t offered any discounts for staying in this “hot box”. Please remove this property from your site! Even Alaska, gets hot when you’re in a room without any circulating air!

Would stay again
Everything was pretty good so far. Front desk staff super nice and accommodating. Room was comfortable however carpets could have been vacuumed a little better. Breakfast was great. Overall we would stay here again. There was no air conditioning when we were there but it wasn’t bad. They provided a fan for our room.

Surprisingly Good
I hate to write this review while staying in a different much more expensive hotel. Because I wish I was back at The Voyager. The hotel I thought was going to be horrible. Turned out to be decent. Dog friendly, but grass is about 2 blocks down. Good for a little walk. Breakfast is decent. Covid makes them have some restrictions. My only complaint was the top sheet felt like a shower curtain.
