good stay
it was mainly a layover for us, stayed there only one night. Great location in downtown, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a bit dated, but overall still clean, comfortable bed, and nice to be in the higher floors too. A bit pricey, but there is not much choice in downtown.

Lovely accommodations - request a blanket
Absolutely beautiful accommodations. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is an older building and I was surprised just before bed by water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom, which seemed to last the course of someone above me taking a shower. It was late so it took a while to get anyone to answer the phone, but then they came up promptly and took pictures of the issue, and gave me fresh towels and toilet paper (mine was wet from the leak). It was late and I was exhausted and the water seemed to have stopped raining in the bathroom so I went to bed. And then there is only a super thin blanket on the bed and no others on hand so I turned the AC down (warmer) and still didn't sleep well because I was cold. I was too exhausted to stay up and wait for someone to bring me a blanket. So, if you sleep cold, request one. I will stay there again, and I will be sure to have an extra blanket.

Awesome property!!!
I had a fantastic stay at this property. Nice room, and very large at that. Friendly and responsive staff. Parking is assigned, which is awesome so you don't have to spend twenty minutes searching for a spot.

Be careful if using the room phone to make calls!
Everything was good except upon checkout I had a $90.05 phone bill (for 2 calls), and the calls was made to a friend stationed on the Marine Corps base Hawaii. Before making the calls I called the front desk to confirm the calls would be $0.75 each and even told the front desk the number I was calling, and if I was told then that only 808 area code is considered a local call but the 252 area code I was dialing is considered an international call (which I was inform of upon checkout) I would not have used the room phone. I would just recommend the hotel informs guest the only the 808 area code is considered a local call. Other than that I would recommend this hotel and would stay again!
