The check in person asked us to wait so they could verify a room was cleaned for us (it was 9PM). She came back and said it was clean, but when we got in there, it was stuffy and there was a huge dark spot on the floor. It was crusty and not sticky, but it was still unsettling.

Owner monitors visitors, tracks and records movement. Has had people kicked out for visiting other guests. There is a line between security and a violation of my privacy.

This was an amazing hotel... Not my bedwas the only reason I didnt like bed. It was clean sheets... Staff was very helpful on food choices and input.... pool felt great ! I will use this hotel again. Daughter had to have surgicaly remove teeth so i was a nervous parent.

The hotel appeared clean. What surprised me was the front desk employee. I was traveling from Florida to Illinois and pre- booked the hotel online with Orbitz. I knew the hotel was pet friendly as Orbitz said so on the website. What I didn't know was there was a charge of $15 per dog. The front desk said to me " before I bother checking you in, do you want to go somewhere else?" and he was rude. I explained that was not necessary and that I had just driven 14 hours and was tired. I paid the extra $30. What upset me was how rude the front desk was regarding the situation. Too bad.
