First off its easy to check in,the hotel manager is very nice,very polite and is ready to help you if you need any assistance or answer your questions. I would defi n ately stay here again.

Avoid! Not enough parking and bed hurts your back
Horrible experience. I know it is a cheap hotel, but I booked it because it had free parking. However, they have very few spots, much less than the number of rooms. As it is a first-come first-served basis and there were no spots left, I had to park on the street. Moreover, the bed was horrible. One of the worst beds I have ever slept on. I woke up with sore back. During the night, someone tried to enter my room. It was scary. It was someone who said he tried to open my door by mistake. Avoid!

A pleasant affordable hotel
This is the first time I've stayed at the San Francisco Inn (I visit SF every other month, but the hotel I usually stay at was fully booked). The staff was very friendly, the room was more spacious than the rooms at my "regular" hotel, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It's also well situated: only 20-minute walk from Civic Center BART, but for me, a bit further to the places I needed to go (25-minute walk vs 10). I will definitely keep it in mind when I book accommodation for my next visits in SF.

I sent my adult son to stay here prior to a stay at UCSF because of the proximity. This place was horrible. They were put on the 3rd floor and upon waking the next morning they had bugs in their bed and the shower didn’t work. It was awful. water drizzled out of the shower head. It was a terrible experience.
