Somewhat surprised there was no microwave or coffee service in the room. Beds were somewhat "crowded."

Nicely decorated, comfortable room. Helpful and efficient staff. Drawbacks, HVAC unit was super noisy and I had to turn it off to sleep. TV was poor, low def channels on an HD set leads to grainy reception. Few emenities

Great location
Great location and perfect to use as our base to visit Harvard and Boston.

Perfect location
The hotel is in a perfectly walkable location to the restaurants and shops of Harvard Square. The “T” is conveniently a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has parking onsite with a daily charge.

Need improvement in service and facilities
They need improve their services and facilities. No greetings or smile from staff when we are in and out lobby area. Our room temperature increased to 85 degree when we returned from outside second day. We want to use AC to cool down the room. It doesn’t work at all

Undergoing some construction now so temperature was tough to manage, but quieter than expected. Bed was too soft for my taste. Otherwise clean and nice staff, can’t beat the location!

Nothing closer to Harvard
Here for Harvard freshman move in day. There is NOTHING closer (the Charles is close but Harvard Square Hitel is a block closer). Can’t be beat for proximity. We walked our daughters bags over from the hotel which was a 5 minute walk. The rooms are small but functional. Still can’t get over the low def TV, though.

Be aware of noise and new paint smell
I stayed one night with my daughter. Room is not clean and it has a very strange smell. We guess it might comes from low quality paint.

Tiny beds, indifferent staff, great location
Nice, modern minimalist kind of hotel right overlooking Harvard Square. Rooms were clean, elevators were filthy. The staff were just okay, not very friendly, but not rude. Just indifferent, didn't get the sense that they liked their jobs. Our biggest issue was the shower pressure was very weak on the 4th floor, and the "Queen" sized bed was definitely more like a double bed, it was tiny for two grown people. I would probably spend more $ on another hotel next time.
