The room was very clean and comfortable. It is right next to the train tracks but that was almost a soothing noise for me. They do provide earplugs at the bedside if you want to block out the noise. I have a medication that needed to be kept refrigerated and the first desk kept it in the fridge right there. The only thing I would caution against is if someone has mobility issues there is no elevator and you can’t access any rooms without going up or down stairs.

Comfortably soft beds, convenient location for catching the cruise ship next day. The only issue was poor lighting in the room and bath, and not a great water pressure or temperature in the shower. Not great dining options in the area, but we made due. NOTE: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!!! This is a major issue for us older clients, though the staff did help us move things up and down the stairs. Otherwise loved the experience.

Pay for luggage storage-first time I ever experienced that and staff did not help at all with luggage storage-just carry it yourself down the stairs… Definitely more noice than expected from trains. This was a really nice hotel, located in a great part of the city and easy to get to everywhere we want to be. It had a nice bar and there was a convenient store in the station over the road. This hotel does run alongside a very busy stretch of railway so some noise and vibration is to be expected. However, because there was no air-conditioning in the room we had to sleep with the window open which then made the noise unbearably loud at times during sleep. We were able to mitigate this by getting a fan from the front desk and closing the window. There are also earplugs provided, but these didn't help for me personally. That aside the room was clean, modern and spacious. And I would still stay here again just maybe not on the track facing side.
