The Oak Bay Beach Hotel's staff are exceptional - moreso in light of COVID19 public health restrictions. Great amenities such as slippers and bathrobes made our stay so much more comfortable.

Our stay was nice. My husband and I were there for our 20 year anniversary. Unfortunately due to a global pandemic it wasn’t as great as it could have been. All services were shut down (spa, massage, sauna, restaurant and dining room) the only thing open were the 3 pools at the time of our departure. I found it to be over priced, nothing included and nothing done as things were being shut down during our stay. For 3 nights at over $1000, could have stayed somewhere else to have breakfasts or something included or compensated for lack of services. Was hoping they would have canceled and closed the hotel and credited us to come back when the pandemic passes, but that didn’t happen and I didn’t want to be out the cost of our stay. It had been 19 years since we have done anything as a couple since having our 3 children, long overdue and really needed. Having said that, the staff were very friendly and the view was beautiful.
