I called-and left a message with a question and never received an answer. This is an expensive hotel that is what I would expect from a much cheaper place. Also the rooms are not easily accessible so if they ask if you want help with your luggage say yes unequivocally. That part was very very unpleasant.

    A Gem

This place is a gem. Super friendly staff. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms. A lot of history to it also.

    We'd stay here again

With all of the outstanding reviews, my expectations were probably too high. It is an adorable property and the room was nice and clean. The "Inn" comprises clusters of small historical buildings. And historical buildings always need more maintenance than can be kept up with. We were in a room that was right on the road and the noise was a bit much. There were also two different families that stayed in the "room" duplex next to us. Each morning we woke to a lot of kid noise (little feet running on top of our heads at 7am), which isn't what you want on what was supposed to be a relaxing and restful anniversary trip. That's not the fault of the Inn, it's just an old set of buildings. If you are going on a family trip, it is probably a great place to stay and a really good value. Keep in mind that if you want breakfast at this "bed and breakfast" it is served at 8:30 in the morning for between 10-20 bucks in another building.

I would certainly return, but there was an alarm issue that caused the box in the room to start wailing on

It’s a traditional setting with classic furnishing. No cold steel and glass visible anywhere.
