Pictures lie
Was very impressed by the pictures and website however when we got there and started experiencing the check-in process I knew right then this wasn't going to work out well. Then to the room just seem to be cheap and dirty would not recommend this place for the money I spent on a room.

Jordan at the lodge is the man!!!!
Jordan had everything in line and ready to go by the time we showed up. Real quick check in without any problem. Jordan help out with whatever we needed. He made sure he had any problems we brought up to him fixed immediately. He help us out with any information we requested and provided more info on where we should go to and enjoy our selves during our vacation. Although the room didn’t have any microwave or refrigerator, but Jordan still provided us with the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. Jordan is why we would stay there again next time we are in Santa Fe. Thank you Jordan for everything u did for us to make our stay very pleasant. Thanks a million Jordan.

I’m not sure what the resort fee was for, the pool wasn’t heated (not even broken, I was just told the heater was ineffective), no refrigerator in the room and when we tried to move the room we were moved to smelled of a smoke, no bottled water or snacks as per the key card (?). The woman at the front desk was pleasant and tried to help but wasnt much she could do. She also didn’t wear a mask at the front desk a couple times I interacted with her, which made me doubt how serious they were taking things. Overall, disappointing stay.

Worn out, could use some upkeep. Still nice enough
The Lodge at Santa Fe is a beautiful place/property and an excellent location. The front desk staff and manager were extremely helpful, kind and courteous. Check in was easy, we got a nice, clean room with a view of the pool. It wasn't until later that evening, however, that we discovered the TV wasn't working properly, the lamp was missing the knob to turn it on, and the phone wasn't working. We were moved to a different room, which was a bit of a hassle, but totally fine. As I was standing at the front desk explaining our issues, there was literally a line of at least 5 other guests with their own issues, and the manager handled it like a champ even though you could see he was in a high-stress situation. Overall, the place was nice, but definitely worn down. I would stay there again, as long as the rate is cheap. And I would be sure to check the TV, lamps, etc as soon as I get in the room. I really do give huge kudos to the manager and the front desk attendant (didn't get either of their names) because their customer service was top notch even in a crappy situation.

Nice, affordable hotel
Beautiful hotel with great location. It's not walkable to the center of town, but about a 5 minute drive. The grounds are beautiful and were filled with bees and butterflies! Jordan, the manager was really helpful and friendly. The restaurant hasn't really survived COVID and it would have been nice to have some options for eating and/or drinking at the hotel. The room was very nice and well-decorated. Would stay again. Everyone wearing masks.

I had issues with the a/c not cooling but Jordan the Manager came through & gave me another room. Very pleasant and would stay again.

The location is good - easy to find, and relatively quiet. I can tell this was once a very good property, which has been deteriorating slowly over time. The bed was soft, plaster cracking, bathroom outdated and showing tremendous wear, and the gaps around the door allowed light and noise in from the hallway.

Will pass on this hotel next time...
This hotel is in a great location but in desperate need of an update and refresh. Hotels just looks old, worn down and tired. Bathroom was old and out of date, blow dryer on wall only worked if you held down the button, no soap in the wall dispenser, plastic shower curtain, sink faucet would just spin, towel holder coming out of the wall. Sheets were not changed while I was there, ants in my bed, bedside table lamp not plugged in-no outlet, mattress hard as a rock, tv would change to a fuzzy screen, no table next to chair in room, only blinds on windows-no way to make room dark. Hallways worn down and dirty. Side doors did not lock for safety. I was charged hotel service fees with no services available- no entertainment, no shuttle ride, restaurant closed etc. Front desk staff was super friendly-especially Ashley!
