Mayfair hotel
Was moved to the Mayfair Hotel about 20mins walk away. Given the Mayfair Hotel is 5 star (although not all facilities open due to pandemic restrictions) this was a bit of a bargain. Like paying for a Travelodge and getting a Hilton

Appalling Service
The location and condition of the accommodation was very good. The service of the staff was that of a 2* star, on one evening the security and manager attempted to remove my wife from the reception area, treating her like she was a prostitute touting for business the hotel lobby. Even though she confirmed her name and provided her room card. Then when ended up going to the room, we called the reception/room service and requested champagne flutes and water for the room. As we where staying in the hotel to celebrate an anniversary. We made no less than 4 phone calls between 10:30 and 11:30, always being promised someone was on there way. No glasses or water arrived at our room all night. In the morning all the hotel management could do was apologies, sorry was to late after ruining our celebrations

The location of this hotel is brilliant and can’t be faulted, neither can the staff. However the room wasn’t very good at all. Firstly, it was incredibly small. There was hardly enough room to move around let alone get into bed. The lady at reception was lovely and provided a complimentary breakfast in an attempt to make up for this. It was a much appreciated gesture and we were truly grateful but unfortunately it did not change the fact that the room was cramped. Secondly our room became very hot throughout the night. We had the air con on but even so it became almost impossible to sleep and the window had to be opened. It seems that the hotel is generally kept quite warm but it is even warmer in the rooms meaning that the sleeping conditions weren’t great. The last issue was that the rooms don’t appear to be have any soundproofing. During the evening and through the night we could constantly hear people walking past, doors being opened and closed and general noisiness. We hardly got any sleep due to this; the proximity of the sound is so close that it sounds as thought the people making noise were doing so in our room rather than outside. We didn’t end up raising these issues whilst at the hotel as we had been informed that it was fully booked and as a result our room could not be changed. Therefore we knew that it wouldn’t be possible to get a resolution. It’s a shame as the location really is very good.

Superb hotel it’s a shame about Latif though
I adore this hotel and extended 4 times so I ended up staying for 2 weeks in total and want to return. Latif is a nightmare though he is so rude and aggressive and works the night shift on the reception desk . He was rude to me once a few days after I arrived and then again over a week later . I appreciate and believe the problem will be dealt with in house though . The GM assured me of this . It’s an an awful shame as the rest of the staff go over and above in their roles.

Fantastic employees & service, no a good size room
The location is great and people working there like Gabrielle and Francisco were very helpful and pleasant to speak to. They made me feel special. However the room and toilet/shower was very small and uncomfortable. i would return only if Gabrielle and Francisco were working. Otherwise i require a larger bathroom and bed area.

Being acquainted with hotels I have a good understanding of service and conditions. Although I have what to say about the premises and its present conditions I will refrain from giving it as the Service and hospitality I received where was notable. Specifically, I was impressed with the good attitude and service of Adellatif Lalmi (night manager) that went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable, I hope Radisson Blu recognizes they have an excellent manager with good people skills. Goes to show you don't need the best locations and facilities to make people welcomed.
