Dissapointed
The property is stunning and we really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, the staff was not welcoming, they weren't rude, however at a "resort" I was expecting a friendly welcome and service. The beds were awful and were so uncomfortable, we checked out a day early (no refund was given).

We LOVED the room as soon as we walked in. The space appeared clean and cozy. We didn’t like the large amount of cold air blowing in from the large crack in the door between the door and frame. The beds are comfortable. The issues continued in the am with our neighbors upstairs. They walk and it sounds like they are in your room. We could clearly hear their conversations and morning routines. Then they took a shower and it sounded as if our room was going to flood. We ran out of hot water before everyone in the family of 4 could quickly shower. W You have to step into the shower under the shower head to turn on the water! That was an experience. The shower door does not close all the way. The shower head, pressure and softness was great. All the requests to not color the towels and sheets is annoying at best. I color my hair and if it bleeds I have to pay extra. It’s the cost of doing business and this expense should be built into the rate or get a better cleaner for the laundry. The color always washes out of our towels at home but it’s clear it’s not even an attempt here. For a property to be so beautiful and so have so many minor issues I would say get someone in that pays close attention to the small details and this place is a 5 star. Until then just a 2 for us. We want to rest until we are done and not hear the next door neighbors like their in our room.
