Exceptional
Upgrade to a Balcony room as it's worth it!
The room was a bit small but highly recommend upgrading to a balcony room because it gives you the extra space and has a beautiful view of gardens below in a nice part of London. Will definitely stay again.

Mid November 2016
It was quite a good location. The room was small however adequate. Was quirky as one entered and then two steps to the bathroom and two steps to the bedroom. There was limited space for a suitcase - however desk and side tables provided. Open wardrobe could have been better designed as the hanging space did not allow for clothing of length (ie Shirts basically if and been placed at 90 degrees would have worked better). Good lighting, whole room, desk and bed both sides, this was needed as the room felt like it was underground. Tiny window with very heavy dark brown drapes and huge dark brown bedhead. The steps were very high and not much depth (only two). Manchester stored above the loo and as not of significant height had to find innovative ways to retrieve. There are two shower controls one for the water mixing and one for the pressure and had difficulty opening the shower door with wet soapy hands. Didn't use the breakfast or room service, did participate in happy hour, wine and beer that were included in happy hour were generally half price. Short walk to Gloucester Road Station, be warned there are no lifts to the platforms (Circle District and Piccadilly lines) the lift goes part to Piccadilly line and then about 30 steps to platform. Weird. Bus 74 goes past and to Earls Court Station (lift to Piccadilly line, ramp from street level to lift). Laundrette about 5 mins walk

Micro Beds
It was a good hotel except for the size of the bed. They are not even a double bed, so if you or your partner are slightly on the larger size, the bed is really much too small. I had to put a pillow on the floor in case I fell out of bed. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was great.
