Phone in room looks dirty. Fuzz or dust in the tub. Dirt in corners or room. All this stuff is more noticeable now with covid. Over all great room. Would be nice to have a fence up beside park and driveway up parking for leave of mind.

Location is downtown with lots of free parking. It is an older hotel but has been freshened up nicely.

I would stay again
Stay was fine other than a blood stain found on pillow but hotel made it right by giving a free night.

My 78 year old mother had not stayed here for at least 8 years; at one time she had been a regular client. The gentleman working at the desk recognized her immediately, as she did him. After a warm “reunion”, she later said the care & attention he & other staff had shown to her in the past made coming back to “the Rodd” just like seeing an old friend. That meant a lot. Of course, the state of the room was excellent as well.

Good 6.0
Beautiful location, outdated, needs some paint - WHY with SO many rooms available would you put someone at a very busy intersection - room was very dusty!
Pierre, ca1 night family trip
Good 6.0
This is a great location, free parking, easy to get to downtown, the mall, and along the beautiful boardwalk. You could tell the hotel was a bit dated, small room, very small bathroom. Could hear a bit of noise from other rooms/guests. Staff was very nice, room was clean and comfy bed. Overall I would stay again. Great value and location is key!!

A great hotel, great location.
The king size bed was so comfortable! - I understand due to covid the breakfast had to be to go. Unfortunately I could not eat anything that was provided.

Short Persons Washroom
The one queen bed room was small, but efficient. The only problem was the washroom is VERY cramped. I'm 5'5" and my knees just about touched the wall when I sat on the toilet. Whoever designed that small a washroom, should have put the little vanity in the opposite corner from the little shower stall, and the toilet in the middle. If you are taller than me, this will NOT work for you. I've never seen anything like that anywhere here or Europe. Kind of funny really. The location was great. Next to the Tidal Bore Park, with a lovely walking/biking lane next to the Bore. Within walking distance to many restaurants and a lovely ice cream stand. My pup loved that right outside our room was the park. For a short person, like me, it worked, I would stay again.
