    I did like the free wine between 5 and 6pm but they had a singer playing guitar that was way too loud and below average. We didn’t stay it was so loud we wanted to have a drink and chat but that was impossible. Checking in was difficult after I booked and paid for the night before and put a note in my booking explaining that I would not be arriving until about 11am the next day after a 20 hr flight we wanted to go straight to sleep to find out they had cancelled my room. It was fixed but disappointing. I wouldn’t stay again.

    Gorgeous Boutique Hotel

    Had a fabulous stay at the Marker. A beautifully restored and styled boutique hotel two blocks from Union Square. We were warned by family and friends about the homeless epidemic in the area and to be extra cautious. In fairness we didn't really go out after dark, but had no issue during the day and even walked from Pier 39 back to the hotel one afternoon. We were in a room with 2 Beds for our family of four and found it quite comfortable. I loved the decor throughout the hotel. Very contemporary with colour throughout. A very welcoming venue from the staff to the cosy wine and music evenings by the fire. They were able to get us into a room on arrival (lucky) and even allowed us to store our bags after checkout. Excellent lighting in the bathroom which is important to a woman!! Just a beautifully styled property. Very happy with our stay at the Marker San Francisco.

    Nice hotel, check in was great and front desk clerk was very helpful. Different front desk clerk for our last 24hrs was less helpful and spoke to us unpleasantly when we enquired about the late check out we had been promised. On our final day they only gave us an hour of late checkout when we had been confirmed for a 2hr late checkout.

    Hotel was immaculate. Amenities in room were great. Staff was spectacular and so friendly they stopped us as we were heading out the door to our function just to let us know how lovely we looked. Will be staying here again.
