The Pines of Paradise has 9 cabins on beautiful all-sports Paradise
Lake with public boat launch access nearby, just 6 miles South of
Mackinaw City at the tip of lower Michigan.  Our facilities offer the
ideal getaway for families large and small looking to spend time
together.  Close to Mackinaw shopping, dining, and vacation
activities, we are easily accessible yet distinctly secluded.
 Includes discount at Harbor Lights Grille, local restaurant . 

Cabin 4 - "Loon's Landing" is 560 square feet with 2 bedrooms and
sleeper sofa that will comfortably sleep 6, decorated with a rustic
hunting/fishing theme.  The unit includes a private bathroom and full
kitchen with stove, refrigerator, plates, silverware, cookware, coffee
pot, toaster, TV with VHS player and more, note:  Internet TV is in
the common Lodge building only for all guests to share.  LINENS &
TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Please call 586-438-8367 for further details.

Please note:  Be sure to pack queen size sheets, towels, and shower
necessities, one extra roll of TP is provided. Sheets & towels are
available to rent at $5/combo set. Cleaning supplies, dish & hand soap
are provided. CLEANING IS NOT INCLUDED, if you choose not to clean,
the fee would be $50 payable upon arrival.  This is a pet-friendly
cabin with a $10 nightly fee, $50/week (2 pet limit).Pets must be
under 35 lbs.  Any of these fees would not have to be paid until
arrival.

This was such an unexpected delight vs. the listing. It was very confusing for check-in though as Expedia and Red Awning had incorrect contact information. This made it difficult to know what to bring. It turns out everything needed for a fun week's stay was included except sheets and towels, and the gracious host was understanding of the mix-up and squared us away. The hosts were friendly, the cabin clean and homey, and there were plenty of activities available for free including canoeing, games, videos, and fire pits. A full kitchen is also included for meals. It's a short 15 minute drive from the Mackinac Bridge for touring.
