Beautiful hotel with top-class leisure facilities
Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting with fantastic facilities and a top class spa. Nonetheless, for a hotel of this specification it is unusual not to have air conditioning in the rooms. During the backend of a heatwave, this does make sleeping uncomfortable. Also, the shower door in the room had been misfitted meaning that water flowed freely from under the shower door and onto the bathroom floor, a clear hazard. Finally, the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and at one point when I turned on the light the extractor fan dropped all the dust all over my toiletries and the towels which was unpleasant. These issues are small points but I wouldn’t expect them from a 5 star hotel. On the whole, this is an excellent hotel. Service is wonderful, the restaurant is brilliant and the pool/leisure facilities are top class. Staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.
