This was my third Stay. First time I’ve been in the main building free Parking food of an evening is very good if you’re next to the railway line it can be a little bit noisy. Wi-Fi is good in the hotel breakfast start at 7:30 and is continental.

The room was well presented,very calm decor in room 5, Aircon worked well , as we had unusually warm weather for late September, hadn't appreciated how close to the train line we were ,bit minimal sound from it . Good size TV and ample coffees and teas ...no biscuits tho 😉 , maybe a bottle of water in the room would be a nice addition. . Bedding was fresh and clean ,but found the mattress quite firm for me . Bathroom good size and lovely powerful shower with good size cubicle. Dinner was delicious 😋, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was of the continental kind ,but enough choice and we left full. Staff were efficient both in check in and at Dinner and Breakfast. Garden are looked very smart but only stayed one night so didn't get to sit out there.

Good value stay. Had dinner and girls serving were kind and efficient. Super good fish and chips. Great shower and njce room (number 1) wirh aircon ! Only very marginal improvements advised: use a scented cleaner so that when there is no bleach smell in the air at breakfast, try to find some fly repellant (I know that innthr countryside is not easy...) and pass a clean damp cloth after spraying cleaners on tables or they remain sticky. As I said, minor improvements to get 5 stars but highly commended

From checking to check out the staff were very friendly and helpful when required. The room was a good size and the air conditioning brilliant in what was a very warm evening/night. I sometime struggle with hotel beds but this was very comfortable and pillows good quality. I had dinner in the pub in the evening which was a very large Frampton burger. Unfortunately the continental breakfast was mainly left untouched as the pastries and fruit were left uncovered and too many flies in the restaurant/bar area.

Very clean comfortable room, although it smelt like somebody had smoked in it. The area is surprisingly quiet considering it is next to a mainline railway station. Continental breakfast was a little disappointing as the bread was low quality and there was no plain yoghurt and the choice of fruit was also somewhat limited.
