Check-in was pleasant and all staff members were very kind. If you don’t go any further than this in my review, it should be noted that the A/C doesn’t work in the main part of the building until it’s summer. We were provided box fans but that was incredibly noisy so the TVs had to be turned up to 100 to hear and it didn’t cool the room down a whole lot. Breakfast was delish and the pool was actually open so those were big perks in our book! Our first suite was beyond terrible. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. BUT the light switch wasn’t even fully affixed to the wall or working, ceiling was practically falling off in the bathroom, paint missing from many areas, very sloppy room joining work, door to hotel had about a 3/4 inch gap from the floor, no door in between the two rooms in the suite, and the curtains didn’t close all the way so the lights from the hotel we’re shining through and anyone from the hall could see into the room because the walls were glass. Our second room we got moved to was in better shape but not perfect by any means. One bathroom had the ceiling actually falling off, no kitchenware in the kitchenette, jacuzzi jets didn’t work and shorted the lights in the suite when attempting to activate, sheets on one bed were dirty, the door from the bedroom to the living room doesn’t have a handle on the bedroom side so you either get locked out of the rest of the suite or have to walk out to the main hall and go in the other door.

When we started staying at this hotel back in early 2000's it was a good place to stay. Over the years it has gone down hill. We stayed in a room that had not been cleaned well. I found a penny on the floor and dust, paper on the floor. the bathroom vent was so loud and had so much dust on it. it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while the toilet paper dispenser was holding on by a thread. The only ice machine working was on the 3rd floor on the other side of the hotel. the vending machines were empty the ATM machine was not working.

Poor lighting in bathroom and main room, no full length mirror, and a lot of noise from the highway (though it was nice to fall asleep to). I'm generally not a picky person when it comes to hotels, but the lighting and mirror issues were important to me because this was a work trip and I need to prep more than I usually do.

Nice stay. Friendly staff, super comfy bed, we forgot our pillows but theirs were great! Like others stated, decor was dated but that's really not a big deal to us. Everything was clean. Pool looked nice. Decent breakfast!

Staff was nice… computer glitched at checkin and charged card when paid in cash (staff refunded $100 in cash later on) carpets had ground gum in it. Dog food behind door when we checked into our room (135) a hand print on the door, and dead roaches throughout the first floor including our room when we checked in

Easy check-in. Clean building and room. Odd setup in the lobby with the pool in the middle. note that some rooms here are interior, meaning there is no window to the outside. If you're claustrophobic or just like sunshine, make sure you get a room with an exterior window. Good breakfast of eggs, hash browns, sausage, cereal, coffee & tea, and bakery items. The lobby is outdated a bit but its not like its gross or smells. Oh, and the shower - EXCELLENT! great water pressure, regulated temp and spacious tub/shower.

The check in gentlemen was eating a donut of some sort, smacking his lips multi tasking to the point that he wasn't attentive to any one person or process. He wasn't rude, just wasn't attentive or focused. The hotel room (228) was in poor condition, someone has shoved paper towel in the vent that led to the hall way. The bathroom fan was so loud you could hardly stand it but if you shut the door you couldn't see because both the fan and light were connected to the same switch. Damaged wall that was not professionally repaired added to the poor quality.

Pros: convenience of location, friendly front desk, free breakfast Cons: facility needs major TLC and cleaning, front desk wait time

Our check-in was relatively easy and the front desk staff was helpful. The computer system, though, seemed quite old. Our room was small and dated, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only major complaint I had was that the heating/cooling unit for the room sounded like a jet engine all night. All in all, comfortable if not luxurious.
