The room was sparkling clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities were excellent from the cafe to the gym, from the kitchen to the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. The Ark is one of my favourite hotels, especially were it is has situated, ideal for the DLR, Tube, restaurants etc.

I introduced my friend to this hotel for the first time, and she absolutely loved it! She especially enjoyed the pool and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Everything felt clean, welcoming and well maintained, making it a really enjoyable stay. The only minor downside she mentioned was that the bathroom area in the Classic Studio felt a little too small for her liking. However, despite this, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. From the facilities and cleanliness to the atmosphere and service, everything was great. My friend had a lovely time and I’m so glad she enjoyed her first experience here. Overall, it’s a 10/10 from us — we’d definitely recommend it and would happily return! 🌴✨

I’ve become a regular at ARK, and it has honestly reached the point where the staff recognise me whenever I arrive — and I have to say, it’s such a wonderful feeling to be acknowledged and remembered. There’s something special about receiving that familiar welcome and knowing that the team genuinely remembers you. It makes every visit feel that little bit more personal and creates a real sense of comfort and familiarity. A special thank you to the ARK reception team for always being so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Your warmth and professionalism never go unnoticed, and it’s those little interactions that make me enjoy coming back time and time again. Thank you for making me feel valued as a returning guest. Keep up the amazing work — it really does make a difference! ❤️✨ 10/10 as always.

8/10 Very good

It was a studio for one night with kitchen. I was suprised to find that I did not have glasses, plates, utencils, pots or pans. I also did not have shampoo or soap. I did get body lotion. In my booking these were listed as included. They have a WhatsApp number to contact and after contacting them they said they would bring them up to my room. But after 2 hours I did not recieve them and had went out, I did not hear from them and did not recieve anything either. Its very great place to stay and great area. If the room included evrything its a 10.

8/10 Very good

I checked in online to make it easier and more streamlined but when I got there I had to do it again. What was the point? The hotel is great, looks the part but there is no aircon, the bed was too soft (if your sharing a bed, if your partner moves, you move), pillows were very thin. I think some minor things need to be done to make it a 5/5 but it was clean, staff friendly. Used to pool, clean with some beautiful views.

8/10 Very good

Very clean room and very friendly staff. Good location and decent (but very small) rooms. Would be nice to get coffee/tea bags added daily and have a bit larger rooms to be honest. Close to city center(like 20mins train) and excel

Really nice place. Great amenities. Convenient for exploring the far east end of London, but easy to get into the centre of town too.

8/10 Very good

Room was clean, spacious, everything needed. Amenities were good the only downside is yes you get a fan in the room but with the hot weather it really needed Aircon, difficult to sleep with how warm the room gets. Other than that zero complaints and would stay again
