Robbed for $615
Robbed of my money. Like others here, I booked for the Rolling Stones concert that had been cancelled. Hotels.com attempted on my behalf to cancel the room and the manager would not budge. Would not consider a cancellation or even a change of dates for the room. I am out $615. Now that the concert is cancelled the rooms are a fraction the price. After almost 2 weeks of attempting to speak with a manager, i got an email refusing. I had been working with Choices hotels supervisors to have this resolved. They had me call back about 8-9 times as they needed to "speak with the manager" "Kala" to resolve this issue, who refused to speak with them or call them back. I was told that i would have resolution and was even told I was going to get a refund by the supervisors the would "happen quicker if done directly from the hotel manager". On my last phone call, Choices now states "no one should have told you that""we are not going to give you a refund" and still, they were unable to speak with the manager. I am at a loss. I have never wasted so much time and have been so mistreated in customer service ever in my life. I had spent hours on the phone being told this would be resolved. What kind of hotel manager does not even respond to supervisors? I am disgusted with Quality Inn & Suites Seattle and also with Choices supervisors who promised me a refund. It is so gross that in 2019, companies can pull this shit off. The price was 50% less when the concert was cancelled.

They are trying...I guess. But give it a hard pass
Hmm. I rarely do reviews, but this was just such an unexpectedly yucky stay, I feel compelled. First, the hotel is under construction, so maybe they are trying to do something with it. When I saw the main picture of the "front" of the hotel, I felt ok. But the perspective with which this picture was shot is trickery at its best. There is a lot of constructuon currently, and the front glass door of the old dingy entrace area opens (and was standing open) into a parking garage. The entrance was small and dank. The front staff were not rude, but not friendly. You have a choice of climbing old stairs or taking a teeny elevator to your room. The halls are old and carpet stained. Speculated whether the stains were from bloody post beer-hall shenanigan take-downs or possibly something out of The Shining. Finally got to the room and it was equally small and dank. Hot and muggy. Turned on the window unit that was plugged through a hole in the wall, and it whirred to functionality - but I wouldn't call it life. It had "cooled" the room by the time we checked out. Worst part in the room was the creaky brick-hard king bed. I searched for bed bugs because the place was just yuck. I DID NOT FIND ANY so this is not a bed bug tale. It was just yuck enough to make you wonder. The frame of the bed creaked and moaned and made awful noise with every attempted sleeptime movement. Woke us up with every turn. Was glad to leave and watched over our shoulders for the Shining Twins as we left.

Arrived at the hotel at 1pm, tons of road closures. Check in wasn't available until 4pm so staff kindly gave us a parking permit with a fee to be able to park in their lot while we went for lunch. Check in was typical and everyone was friendly, however upon leaving the hotel for the ball game we noticed a sign in the elevator that said there would be no water from 9pm to 6am. We asked the front desk about this because they did not share any info upon check in and also if they had emergency water supply or water bottles so we could still drink and use the bathroom as this is the time everyone is generally in their rooms. They did not have either. We spoke with friends who stayed at neighboring hotels and they all had access to bathrooms and were given bottled water. So I believe this was terrible service as this is a human right to have to provide water in order to stay open. The following morning we were woken up to a phone call from the front desk at 6am telling us we needed to move our vehicle because they were tearing up the parking lot. At this point, we packed up and left because we couldn't use the bathroom or shower as the water was still off. I would suggest in the future aside from providing water to guests in some way or requiring vehicles to be moved that staff post more signage AND tell your guests upon check in! A little information would've not made us so sour about our stay.

Anything BUT quality!
This Quality was anything BUT quality. The hotel is obviously VERY run down and grungy. The ONLY thing positive I can say about this hotel is that the front desk staff was pleasant. The elevators were grungy, the room looked like someone had tried to break in and the door frame was "patched" back together. The dresser drawers would not shut and the dresser/desk/woodwork was scratched and disheveled. One set of sheets had blood stains on them when we checked in. The curtains were a shambles and the windows were filthy. We had construction just above us and a debris shute just outside of our window which began early in the morning. The breakfast area was a sauna and the tables were NOT cleaned off as guests left (even though there was staff there), which left other guests to clean before they could sit down and "enjoy" their breakfast. I contacted Hotels.com about changing and was told that I'd first have to get the Quality Inn to "surrender" the reservation. I made it clear that I didn't was to surrender a reservation without knowing that we had another option so the person I spoke with said that yes, she could get us into another hotel. But the cost would be around $1,000 for the remaining two nights. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have expected that Hotels.com would have been willing to make this right but it was clear that THAT was not going to happen. I will NOT use Hotels.com again and will certainly not recommend it to anyone that asks.

hotel filled with mold and cables hanging on walls
first of all I would like to say that 1 day later the management changed us of room, I have pictures to proof what I am accusing the hotel. The first day at arrival, the lady told me at 3 pm to come back at 4pm since the check in was at that time, I stayed in the parking lot waiting. 5 minutes later my wife stand in line to ask a question and heard the same lady giving her room to another costumer checking in.. I felt discriminated since the lady had an excellent English and I have a very strong foreign accent, even I am a US citizen. The room they gave me was full of mold and all the cable/electric wires hanging in the hallway and room, We asked for a change in the room and the manager did not answered that day, We went to the desk office next day and demand to be changed of room, the room also very very small. We were fine after that. So I want from you to help me get my money back for that one night. We spoke to the corporate office and they told my wife that they returned 60 dlls which is not true. Also, in other websites of Travelocity, they do not charge for the parking lot, I feel is unfair to charge some third parties and other not to be charged. I hope you can help us to ask them to return the parking fee.
