Superb hotel and icon of Singapore history and colonial heritage. Amazing service and ambience. An oasis in one of the world's best cities. Just awesome and we are all looking forward to the completed rennovation by August 2018.

The hotel is undergoing major refurbishments and celebrating its 130th anniversary but style, elegance and service is still to the fore. The courtyard suite was a perfect oasis during an action-packed few days in cosmopolitan (and humid) Singapore.

Impeccable service with own butler, a once in a lifetime experience. Tiffin Room High Tea exquisite! The Hotel is close to shopping malls. It is undergoing renovations and the Long Bar is closed. However the famous Singapore Sling is available in the Billiard Room Bar....a must do!!!

Perfect hotel, great hospitality!
What can I say, iconic, opulent, truly lives up to the reputation. From the champagne welcome at check in to the butler service in the courtyard suite, I can find no fault in any aspect of the property or service. The staff take the trouble to address you by name at every opportunity and even though the hotel is undergoing a renovation (which sadly meant the long bar was not open) disruption appears to be non existent and at no point did I hear a whisper of building noise. Afternoon tea was everything you'd expect and more and dinner in the grill room, although a little pricey was sublime! I would definitely stay here again, loved every minute.
