The hotel's condition was as expected, however I was very disappointed with the additional daily fee ($40) for fitness center & lobby computer - neither of which we used. We were only told about this additional fee upon check-in. If fees for those services, tell guests when reservations made, not at check-in. No guest wants to arrive in NYC to those kind of "surprises"

It was an amazing experience. Booked 3 rooms for my daughters Sweet 16. The staff was accommodating, friendly and professional. They were old school understanding importance of service. The next day we had breakfast for 11 and the food was very good and restaurant was beautiful with an old NY look, what do expect from a hotel built in 1903. Thank to all for making it special.
