So we arrived and got a text telling us how to access the room. Bed had not been made up clean, hair found in the sheets. Smelled musty and of mildew. Louvered shades had one broken slat and several on backwards.... The mattress was terrible with my wife and I both coming away with sore and aching backs. I would avoid staying hear. The redeeming qualities are the view is beautiful and it is a short walk into town.

We cancelled our reservation March 26, 2020 due to Covid19 all flights cancelled to Yukon & no travellers allowed into Yukon. Expedia sent email to Stardust cancelling reservation. The Motel has charged us for one night accommodation in spite of being notified 3 months in advance. Very bad business practice.

A very basic motel for when you just need a roof over your head. Staff was great, window coverings are bot meant for northern summers, but I'm sure they work great during the winter months.

The room, bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with everthing needed for an overnight stay. I was given an upgrade to the suite with larger refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, cookware, and dining table. The rooms do need updating, but the owners are trying really hard and are very responsive. Nice mountain view out the front windows, with a covered porch with benches for relaxing and taking in the view.

I was on a long trip from Seward,AK to Post Falls, ID. Just needed a bed for 8 hours. I didn't have high expectations. It had a good firm bed and was fairly quiet. The young man at the desk was very pleasant. Everything was as expected.

This was the cleanest motel/hotel I’ve ever been to. That made up for the dated look. It IS a motel after all! The room was larger than expected also. Very safe feel.

The motel itself is old and the walls thin. However, the staff/owner went out of his/her way to make it the best possible given what they had. The beds were ok, and the carpeting tired, but if you needed ice, the staff would procure a bag from what looked like their own fridge.

This place is simple in an old Western town way. Great views from the rustic wood porch where I enjoyed my complimentary coffee in the morning sun. Way cleaner than the BW I stayed in the night before in Whitehorse. I've stayed at most of the other hotels in Haines Jct and Stardust has the best TV's and TV service. Internet was adequate. I'll be back often now. A hidden jem less than a mile west of "The Junction", otherwise they'd be charging more.
