Exceptional 10.0
Relaxing stay!
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel between christmas and New Year and found the hotel very welcoming on both occasions. Its location is ideal for walking into the city centre to do some shopping or having a drink and something to eat. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly.

Beds could be better felt as if head was a bit lower than feet. Shower on second night could have been hotter

nice stay in a lovely hotel in a great position
lovely stay here the rooms were very cosy ,breakfast lovely and the little waitress who served us was so lovely considering she was working on her own ,nothing was too much trouble for her. situated in a great position with a short walk to everything and parking at the back, lovely little hotel.

Nice Cetral hotel.
I went with friends for a weekend in Norwich, the hotel suited us all well as it was central, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a pity that the only lift broke down, but that happens.

Fair 4.0
The most amazing location in Norwich. But sadly this hotel seems run down and outdated (given the price) which is such a shame for the amazing location. The bed was also rock hard. The staff were lovely. It definitely wasn’t a 4*.

Needs attention
Looking very neglected in areas now. The room was lovely but marks and stains on wall. Breakfast was Ok, more staff needed. More attention to topping up continental table. Expensive

Interesting hotel with identity crisis
Interesting hotel but has a bit of an identity crisis. The building on first appearance looks quite grand but when you dig beneath the surface it’s fairly average. It was clean and warm and the room was unusually better than in the photos maybe deliberately to lower your expectations. The room even had air con which was a nice surprise, bed too soft. Staff were friendly and professional but and this is a big but, there is no onsite restaurant or room service menu even though the hotel description mentions one and even the room welcome pack mentions room service. When going into the bar/restaurant and asking for the menu was told that the restaurant wasn’t open and wouldn’t be for a few months. When asked why was told that the management company had gone out of business. The man at the bar desperately tried to sell us booze but all we wanted was dinner. Luckily the hotel is in the centre of town so we just got food out. We also had a blip regarding breakfast which was listed in the description of the hotel when booking as free cooked to order breakfast but when checking-in was told it was room only booking when I showed the receptionist the property description she slickly confirmed what time breakfast would be. That said breakfast wasn’t great. There was a continental buffet which was basic but fine, and cooked to order breakfast which was quite frankly horrible probably lack of chefs. Felt it was overpriced for a 3* hotel.
