What I didn't like was the fact that the $50 non-refundable pet deposit was not listed in the fact sheet on the web site. I expected the $5.00/day pet fee - which was listed. This resulted in an additional charge of $50 when I arrived when I had already pre-paid our bill for our stay. Additionally, when I went to open the blinds, the blinds header literrally crashed down on my head. I'm fine, but my husband reported it and then we left for the day. When we returned, the blinds had not been fixed. And remained unfixed for the duration of our stay. Overall, the accommodations were about average based on all our previous stays at other hotels.

The staff we dealt with were excellent, very polite and helpful. The accommodations were great for us. Plenty of room and space. Parking, though is kinda tight. GET BACK EARLY. Always helps to have a cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. They're open arms for pets and service animals is comforting. We'll be back.

This has been an exceptional stay. I have been traveling for the past 4 months and I have stayed at a large variety of hotels. Some of them are winners and some of them are losers. Woodspring Suites is definitely a winner. Every interaction I have had with the staff has been great. Everyone from the maintenance person to the front desk to housekeeping have been friendly they always smile and say hello. The hotel is very clean and it seems like they are constantly cleaning everything from the floor to the carpets to buttons on the elevator! I have been made to feel especially welcome by Nique at the front desk. She greats me by name when I walk by she asks about my day and how I am doing. I feel like she really cares and is not just being "fake" nice because she has too. I have seen that she is friendly and outgoing to other guests as well. I originally was going to stay here for a week and a half. Today I extended my stay by 10 more days. Stop looking and book here; you wont. be disappointed

The hotel is ok at best. False advertising with the pictures of the beds etc. immediately after booking you get an email of a non refundable pet fee which isn’t on Expedia site. Beds are super thin and the pillows don’t even fit in the pillow case. The sheets are super thin, I have sheets thicker then the 3 blankets on the bed. No pots and pans even though they call it a kitchenette. No utensils etc. Management is horrific and have zero human compassion. They only care about their money and will fee you to death if you stay long term. I went solo for my son’s graduation, and had to cut short due to death in family. Expedia worked their butts off to change my airline tickets to return home. They contacted management of hotel and the general manager refused to refund the two nights I wasn’t staying there. Stated policy, but when does policy come over humanity. Once they get your money, they don’t care about you or anyone else. I even tried to get my money back due to false advertising and principal of it all. Even though it is close to lackland/seaworld. Pick somewhere else to stay. This place isn’t worth it. Beds suck, management sucks, no amenities, snack machines don’t take debit cards. Luckily Walmart and others are real close. I could go on and on if how despised I am of this property and management. I will always use Expedia, they worked their butts off for me and gave me a travel voucher for later
