Really bad
First the heat did not work right, there was no blanket for the pull out bed just a sheet and pillow, the elevator was broken, had a 3rd floor room, and had to climb the stairs. Fire alarm was set off at 6am !!

Paid in advance only to not be provided a room.
I was never able to stay at the hotel. I arrived to check in a little after 4 and my room wasn't ready. I went to dinner with the family and came back at 7:30 and it still was not ready. I waited for an hour and a half and there was still no room. I had to call 20 other locations and book outside of hotels.com so that my family had a place to stay. I have small children who have a consistent bedtime which didn't happen. I had expectations to relax that evening with them and maybe go for a swim, which we were deprived of. Instead, I spend the first night of my vacation looking for other accommodations. It was something I had never experience before and am unsure how to avoid in the future. In the grand scheme, this was not a big deal. Children in Yemen would dream of my being able to have my problems and I recognize that. Still, this was a bad experience and I think it's worth knowing.

The room was large and comfortable. We had a few issues during our stay. First, the fire alarm went off on the first morning shortly after 6 AM. This was Saturday morning and

Nightmare
It was horrendous. We had arrived around 9PM to check-in, to our surprise there was a line of people being told they were going to have to call them back. When I got to the top of the line I waited 45 mins until they figured out what to do. Overall I waited an hour and a half to check-in. I had called front desk for a blanket and they never brought it. I had to call at 4AM to finally get it. Then to add insult to injury, the whole fire alarm system went off scaring the heck out of my kids. There was no type of real rest that night. It was horrible. Never staying at that hotel again.

Not so great
Not so good. The elevators do not work so going up to the third floor was a pain in the ass. The hotel room looks run down and outdated. Not the cleanest room. The toilet barley even flushed. My room wasn't ready at 3 so I had to wait an extra hour to check-in. To top everything off the fire alarm went off at 6 in the morning waking up the entire hotel. Definitely will not staying at this hotel again.

Poor
At 6am the fire alarm went off and kept going off for at least 15 minutes, the beds are very uncomfortable, there was constant noise in the room above us all night long. Overall it’s a noisy hotel, one that if your looking for rest you won’t get it here! Disappointed in this double tree usually they are great to stay at

Rude awakening
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times while visiting family and can’t say I’ve had any issues. This past stay though, was a little different. I stayed two nights and the weather was a little chilled prompting the use of the heater. Well, the first night the room kept getting colder no matter how high I set the thermostat. Our heater did not work, making it a little uncomfortable unless under the covers. I didn’t request a different room because we had already unpacked and it was close to midnight when we realized the air was blowing cold. So we endured another night in the cold room and decided we would bundle up under the covers for the second night. 6 in the morning we are awaken to the blaring sound of the fire alarm throughout the hotel. We jumped out of bed to wake the kids and rush out. By the time we got our shoes and sweaters on, the alarm stopped. We never received a courtesy call from the front office explaining the situation which I felt was a little tacky. I just didn’t have it in me this time to make a complaint and be “that person”. The rooms are decent for the price but I’m not too sure I’ll be booking there in the near future.
