      I wish I listened to the other bad reviews...

      I rarely write reviews but this was by far my worst experience with a hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 4pm (1 hour after check-in) and was told the room wasn't ready but we completed the paperwork side. I then waited along with every other guest in the lobby. There wasn't an operating bathroom in the lobby so when my 2yr old needed diaper changes I had to change her in the lobby. We waited for 2 hours! During that time 3 guests were given access to their rooms. At that point I should have been next. That was when the girl at the front desk (who was working alone and had only been there a month) announced to the lobby filled with people that the hotel was overbooked. After some back and forth, the front desk told me she did have a room for me but it wasn't the suite I had originally booked with hotels.com. At that point, it was after 6pm, with no dinner, no bathroom access, and alone wirh a 2yr old, I agreed ro take whatever she could give me. I went up to the room and it was already occupied! After returning to the lobby she apologized for giving me the wrong room number and I was finally able to get to a room close to 3 total hours after I originally tried to check in. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, bathroom was dated and dirty with only 1 bath towel (no hand towel or washcloth). The breakfast included a microwavable sandwich, fruit cup, yogurt, milk, juice, water, and coffee. The manager never answered his employee's calls and hasn't called me back.

      Great value for the money

      This hotel has a lot of bad reviews, but overall we didn't think it was that bad! We stayed in one of the nicer rooms (Queen suite with a harbor view) and had pretty low expectations based on the reviews. But for the price we paid compared with all the other options in the area, we thought the room was pretty clean, relaxing, had a great view, and the staff was very friendly! The material condition of most the items in the room is degraded and you can tell it's pretty old. But the hotel is walking distance to the inner harbor and is in a great location. With our other hotel options being over 3x the price of this one, we were happy with our overnight stay. The people at the front desk and the valet attendant were super friendly, which made a big difference to us!

      Don’t stay here.

      This is the worst hotel ever. Elevator was broken, room was filthy right down to the pillows that smelled like bo and dirty hair. Floor- have you ever heard of a crevice tool? Flip lock broken so didn’t feel secure. Hallways and stairs were disgusting. Air conditioning not working in bedroom. Tables have cup marks on the glass and tons of dirt under the glass. Supposed to get 40% off of my room rate because of the elevator but I’m not holding my breath. Checked out this morning and still no ereceipt.

      The elevator was down we had to walk 8 flights to our room. The bathroom had an open hole in the ceiling with mold everywhere. We were moved to the 5th floor. This room was better but not work $122 a night.

      WORST STAY EVER.. LEFT AFTER 1ST NIGHT

      1. Parking was offsite @$23 a day 2. The lobby floor was filthy and sticky when we got there and was still the same when we left. 3. The bedding had not been changed from the previous guests. 4.the room smelled horrible.. almost unbearable 5. Half the lamps didnt work 6. There were only 3 towels and 2 washcloths in the room, (we had 5 guests) and when we asked for more they said they didnt have any. 7. The water was literally BLACK when we turned on the ahower and there was mold/mildew on the walls in the shower, and the floor of the tub was so soft, of felt like you were going to fall through. 8. We were on the 10th floor and only one elevagor was working, then it broke down overnight and hadnt yet been fixed when we returned from our day out..and didn't seem like they were working on it. 9. Room keys deactivated after the 1st night. 10. The AC was very loud & didnt work well then finally quit as did all the outlets in the room. We checked out after the 1st night, having to carry all our luggage from 10th floor, and even though it was before 4pm(as their policy states) they didnt refund our 2nd night stay. We had to drive an hour to find another hotel. Their site will not allow a review unless you "sign up" for they emails etc.. then still wouldn't allow it without a reservation#. I only had the hotels.com reservation # and it said it was invalid.. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. I wish I'd known we could attach pic to this review.. I definitely would have taken some..

      Stay Away!

      Terrible! There was an issue with overbooking rooms, so they sent us to a room with keys that was already occupied. We walked in and there was apparently a party happening. The entire building smelled like marijuana including the room we walked into. The free breakfast consisted of a jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich and a yogurt. The overnight parking across the street ended up costing $61.00 for less than 24hours.

      Baltimore on Labor Day weekend

      Very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and especially our room. The only thing I didn't like is that there was no coffee in the building. The coffee maker in our room didn't have the basket to place the coffee in, and the lobby only offered hot water. Otherwise, a wonderful stay.
