The overall staff experience was very disappointing. Our room had a single town that was stained. It took 3 hours for room service to bring extra towels. At breakfast, the food was good, but the staff was not present and attentive at all.

When we got to our room, one of the beds was rumpled like it had been napped in. The staff put us in another room quickly. In the new room there was a rag left behind from housekeeping in the bathroom. The fixtures in the bathroom were also showing age and there wasn’t a hair dryer in the room. Overall it was a clean room with friendly staff in a convenient location (near Albany Medical), but attention to detail was lacking especially for the price.

I made a mistake registering for a room intended for March 14 instead the program defaults to 1130 pm feb 23, the exact time I sat in my living room 3 hours away hoping to find a place to stay for the Bruce Springsteen concert march 14. I immediately call hotel. No answer. I call Hilton corp office . I call expedia. They all tell me I get a waiver, but why cant I change the date? Thats the problem. Instead im out $320. Just not right. Your policy is not fair to someone who makes an error on your system. Why isnt someone answering the phone at your hotel? 6 times i called. This is not right. I am a retired Firefighter and and have made many sacrifices in my life i know the difference, this is just not right.
