      Fabulous staff

      While there, someone had a fire in their room at 10 pm. Staff was calm, friendly but firm, and was knowledgeable about procedures. After the emergency was taken care of, the staff approached me and offered warm cookies to my children. Staff was kind and very quick to respond to every request we had. Even when our youngest hadna diaper leak on the bed well after the time to request for the room cleaning, they not only changed the linen on the soiled bed, they also cleaned the entire room, which i felt was above and beyond! We will definitely stay there again during our next long trip to Williamsburg!!!

      Enjoyed our stay

      The first room we were placed in, smelled terrible, but staff was great in moving us to another with no problem. We were satisfied with new room except for the fact that it was only cleaned once for the 5 days we were there. Overall, we had a great experience.

      Awesome Customer Service

      Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! The pool was very nice, as well. I was at the complete opposite end of the hall from where the ice machine and laundry facilities were, which was a hassle, but a little extra walking never killed anyone. It was nice that there is an elevator on both ends of the hall, however. The washing machine and dryer take a credit/debit card and they worked very well! The beds were super comfortable and clean. We had a dirty shower curtain liner but we didn't fuss over it, just pushed it out of the tub. Our room also didn't have an extra security lock but the bathroom door swung far enough that we considered that an extra security lock. There is a mini-fridge, microwave, and a small safe to secure belongings. Our A/C dripped into the carpet below, which is something we told maintenance about.. it was like 100 degrees outside so it's understandable. They don't offer a free breakfast BUT they have a very nice café area where you can buy drinks and snacks, as well as order from a breakfast menu. There is a pool table in the lobby as well as a small arcade area (and change machine, which was a nice touch) near the bar. The lobby was immaculate, as were the lobby restrooms (I told the gentleman who was cleaning that he did a very nice job). I would go back solely because of how great the customer service is.

      Meh

      The popcorn ceiling was falling down everywhere. Everything looked old. Arcade games were all broken. No vending anywhere. The small little store by front desk had barely anything looked empty. The room didn’t have cups or welcome pack. No menu for room service. Not what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. Saving grace was the two African American women working the front desk were so nice and professional. Also, the bartenders were so nice and inviting!
