Suites de la Parra

Hotel is centraly located in downtown by the cathedral and el socalo park. The room was excelent as well as the personnel, personnel were outstanding from the check in time untill we departed. The hotel is well secure, you will need to ring the doorbell to enter the building and front desk person will open the door, hotel front door is always lock

Overall we had a nice stay however were somehow disappointed in a few areas: The advertisement about having food for purchase is misleading, you have to order room service that they bring from the other property. Every time we order food, the delivery was fast but they do not have a restaurant on site where you can eat. We booked two rooms to host families of 5 but every day we only got two to three towels, we had to request more towels every day. The kitchenette was unfinished and does not have any dishes. On the positive side, the location is excellent, you are within walking distance to everything in the downtown area, rooms a great, clean and comfortable. The fact that they have a pool was a plus since we had a lot of kids that enjoyed it very much. The staff is excellent! They go above and beyond to please you and are extremely helpful, anytime we needed something they would do it right away and with a big smile! We would definitely return to this property, despite the few challenges.

Pros: Nice service. Near to city center and Cathedral. Cons: No elevator, ugly hotel entrance and street access, no restaurant, bathroom is VERY hot (no air condition)

Awesome stay at Suites de Parra. Staff was amazing, room was clean and newly renovated, location is walking distance to everything. Definitely coming and staying at this hotel next time I come to Oaxaca.
