Exceptional 10.0
Our stay at the LB has not let us down in over 7 years. The staff has been a hallmark of good customer service. Rooms are spacious and clean. I feel at home when we stay.

Second time I got a room by the service elevator. Room was ok. Hotel overall is nice. I requested a couple of things from the front desk that were never attended to. Gonna give it one more try.

Poor 2.0
Historic but outdated
This place needs to be updated. The amenities that encouraged me to book this room did not work. The computers did not work. The sky bar did not open. They didn’t answer the phone at the front desk. We ordered room service but they did not deliver we had to go downstairs to get our food.

Exceptional 10.0
Comfortable, clean, historical and great location!
Visit Baltimore often, but usually stay near the office in far north end of city limits. We had a function for the entire company at the Aquarium, so I wanted a nice hotel within walking distance. There were others closer, but not as nice (or historical!) and the 10 minute walk was ideal. The nicest surprise was how good the food was! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was eaten once there over my 2 night and all 3 meals were VERY good! Sad that I couldn’t experience the Sky Terrace, but it was FRIGID that weekend!

So awful we checked out a day early
The front desk staff was rude. The room door had a gap at least an inch thick underneath it. The water in the shower was warm but it never got fully hot. The shower grout was disgusting and needed to be replaced. Pictures vs real life we’re way off. We ended up checking out a day early and just eating the cost of another night. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

i will never stay here again or recommend.
I decided to stay here because it said it was on the inner harbor and has a picture of the harbor on. It was an 8 minute drive to the harbor. When we got there the valet was very nice but when he got into the car he hit the gas instead of the brake and floored it. Luckily it was in park. When we walked in the lobby was beautiful. We asked what time the bar was open till and they said 1:30 which is noted online. We got into our room and it was okay. The bathroom needs updating and the shower looked gross. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything in the next room and we were on the 16th floor and we could still hear everything going on in the streets. The windows are very drafty. We went out and decided to head back to the hotel for a night cap. We arrived at the hotel at midnight. There were 4 people sitting at the bar drinking. We went to sit down and the bartender was rude and said “uh uh we are closed” I asked the front desk why they were closing an hour and a half early and he said it was up to the bartenders discretion. However that should only apply when there are no patrons at the bar and hasn’t had any for over an hour or so. You shouldn’t turn customers away when you are currently serving people and it’s an hour and a half away from closing. They also charged for water bottles that were supposed to be free and also when I tried to access the WiFi it asked if i wanted to charge it to the room. It said online the water was free and also the WiFi.
