The Hotel was fabulous. The lobby, reception, gym, pool and main bar were excellent. We had two rooms looking north out over Patongs main bay and the view was very nice. The resort is on the hillside at the south end of Patong beach. It is very spread out and the rooms are a mix between the main wings along the waterfront or clusters of 4 rooms spread around the hillside. We were on the hillside which was lovely and private. The staff managed the movement of people throughout the resort with clinical precision. The pricing is more expensive than most places we visited but you can see the obvious benefits. So if you are happy to spend a little extra and be in a convenient beautiful spot just off the pace at Patong, then this would be my recommendation.

Customer service was excellent. The front desk staff was always helpful and attended to all our requests promptly. The Rim Talay restaurant staff was always attentive and provided exceptional service. Room service was also very good. Our stay at Amari Phuket was very enjoyable.

Unique location within walking distance to Patong beach and restaurants, great spacious 2 bedroom suite, excellent snorkelling from jetty better than those on paid trips to outer islands, great hospitality and helpful staff. Inconsistent housekeeping service, good breakfast variety but restaurant can get crowded and busy at times with guest having to ask for items and refills Suite at top of hill offers privacy but inconvenient to get around hotel complex although hotel offers 24/7 golf carts transportation service.
