Our new go to hotel in Kyoto.
I can say safely after coming to Japan for over 15yrs, this is bar far one of the best stays I've had. From the moment we checked in, the staff was attentive, polite, accommodating, and kind. The atmosphere was just...calm. everywhere you went in this hotel, calmness. Our room had an excellent layout, the main closet was in the center of the room and accessible from the entrance, bathroom, and bedroom. SUPER convenient. Meticulously clean, we even got a care package from the manager, tiny cakes, and wine to welcome us. Just wonderful. The living area in the room was spacious and had enough USB ports and outlets to charge/hold all our electronics, the phones, cameras, and camera equipment all chargeable at the same time......WONDERFUL!!!! The bathroom was beautifully done, with marble throughout. The bathtub was long and deep enough for my lady to lay in and just relax while sipping on plum wine. The standing shower had a rainforest head so you were just wrapped in a soft rain shower that covered your whole body. The bar: Magnificent, the custom cocktails made by the bartender were great and he explained to us how they came to be. The presentation was also just amazing. PLUS as you'd expect, they have a LARGE amount of Japanese whisky, including of course Hibiki and the very rare, very expensive Suntory blends. The food: I'm running out of space for this review but lets just say again, it is amazing. and service. WONDERFUL!!

Wonderful, definitely recommend
This place is great. It is close to the train, walking distance to the Nishiki Market and a few temples. The hotel is modern but cozy at the same time. The staff was really nice, internet great, room was clean, very comfortable and well stocked. Nice touch to have coffee in the lobby for those of us who are very jetlagged travelers! One of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Good location with excellent service
We stayed Dhawa Yura Kyoto for 4 nights during entire trip in Kyoto. The location is very convenient which is right next to subway Sanjo Keihan, Gino. Most of the famous Kyoto destinations are all in walking distance or 30 minutes by transportation. The hotel is boutique and deluxe type, quiet, but close to famous dining area Pontocho 先斗町and shopping area. Service is excellent. Yukari Nishiguchi helped us check in, printed train ticket receipts, tour advice etc. Rekha helped us to get taxi and even help with us for the taxi outside of hotel. We can’t ask for more. I will definitely come back to stay next time when I come back to visit Kyoto again.
