Not what it was a couple of years ago
We have stayed here a few times before. This was first time that I noticed that it was in need of repairs. Bathroom shower rod had been torn out of the tiles. Broken tiles were put back , instead of new tiles. Rod was attached about 3 inches away from tile to rescuer, but poorly done. Shower base was very slippery. Toilet paper holder was also torn from wall and semi secured to wall with caulk. Free breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Unlike previous stays there, it seem to be going down.

Reported to the front desk two issues: 1. telephone broken, no dial tone at all, 2. the stand-up light was out of order. No one contacted me to explain why the issues could not be resolved before checking out. Shampoo bottle was empty. I washed my hairs without proper shampoo. We could hear the walking noises from upstairs room during the night.

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast had many choices and a pleasent surprise. I used the work out room. There were many options there. The staff was friendly. I would definitely return.

trip to chicago
I like having the shampoo/conditioner, etc. in the shower but each one of the three bottles contained what looked like clear, yellow shampoo. None were a conditioner. Only one elevator worked. Only one coffee pot in the lobby was not enough, the worker was kept busy replenishing breakfast items. We were on the second floor and someone was running around above us for all three nights. Hotel was good location, easy to park, pool looked nice.
