Great Vacation Experience when you stay at this amazing 5000sq/ft 6 bedroom 4 bath vacation rental. This is an ideal accommodation choice for a family or small group of close friends looking for the ultimate winter experience. You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside this beautiful interior, boasting high quality furnishings, cozy touches like the pellet furnace, and three gas fireplaces. All the floors are heated to keep your feet warm and quick drying of winter boots.
The Snow Machine Trails are across the road and there is plenty of room for parking trailers and machines. Just North of the property is deep powder and remote riding, make sure you bring the necessary equipment for a challenging adventure!
Marquette Mountain is just 35 minutes away for skiing, boarding, and X-Country skiing.
Snowed In!!!! No Worries. The Pirates Cove Bar and Game Room will keep you entertained.. Use the Steam Room, and Suana to take the chill off.
There are 2 queen bedrooms on the lower level and one has a queen sleeper sofa, these bedrooms share the bathroom on the lower level. The master king bedroom has a private bath including a hot tube, and fire place. Upstairs there is one queen and two full size bedrooms and they share a bathroom. A single rollaway bed is also available

Everything was as advertized or better
WE had 5 couples all different walks of life, somethings we did separately, some together, as there is a lot to see in the area. Lake and swimming were great, as well as sitting outside at night whether on one of the porches or by the fire ring. We had one minor problem, made a call to the number given us and it was fixed in 1/2 hour. Really I don't know what else David could have done to make a better experience.

Great Family Vacation
We had a wonderful family vacation at David's beautiful lake home. With the six bedrooms there was room for everyone. We really enjoyed the lake with the slide and water trampoline. The grandkids had lots of fun with all of it. Although the water had a darker color to it, it was very clear and clean and great for swimming and watersports. Van Riper State Park is just a boat ride across the lake and has a nice sandy beach for the kids. We spent a lot of time in the large backyard that faces the lake, playing kubb, ladder ball, and cornhole. The yard is really pretty with lots of flowers everywhere. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the cooler afternoons/evenings. Although most windows have no curtains, it provided for beautiful views and the most amazing sunrises as we woke up in the morning! We were lucky to be there over the July Fourth holiday and had prime viewing for the fireworks since the park is right next door. (Great playground for the younger ones too, just a very short walk away.) The Michigamme community parade was also a fun experience. When we arrived, the home was so well decorated for the Fourth of July with flags, buntings, and lots of other small touches that we really appreciated. David was very responsive throughout the whole process, even emailing us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience!

Beautiful Home
Had a great time on the Michigamme Lake and this house was perfect for 3 couples with 3 kids. The only complaint I have is that the pots and pans were not clean and the griddle was so clogged with "stuff" that it was unusable. Even with that, we loved it here, the rooms, bathrooms and living areas were awesome. The kids loved the video games, as well as the adults! It was a perfect spot for some R&R. We had a great time and would rent it again!

great little get away!
Had our wedding at this house this past summer, held about 100 people. Nice big house with lots of rooms for privacy, large basement with sauna, bar, TV, rooms, pool table, steam room, and workout area. Great kitchen with lots of seating! Quaint little restaurant right down the street. Awesome view of the lake..Very nice house along with easy going owners!

Nice home, was not renter ready
We rented this home over the Christmas holiday so we could spend time with our extended family. It is a nice, spacious home which at first glance seemed perfect. Unfortunately many of the dishes, silverware, pans and cooking utensils were put away dirty. So we had to empty the cabinets and wash those things right away. The sauna that the guys were looking forward to using was so dirty/moldy that they opted out. The gas fireplaces did not work and the wicker love seat was on its last leg. The freezer leaked water and only made ice once in awhile. There were some other minor repairs that needed to be done, but they did not bother us. It is a pretty, spacious home with many areas to be together as well as find a spot to get away. Hopefully the home will get some TLC before the next renters come in.

Loved it!
The home was perfect for our group of 5 couples for our annual snowmobile trip! The weather didn't exactly cooperate - no worries as we had plenty to entertain us with the sauna, hot tub, pool table, etc. Plus plenty of space to spread out. The only thing that could have made it better would be queen size beds in all rooms instead of full.
